Salute
CPT Mosh reporting for Shield Squadron 18/3/02

========================(¤)===========================
Wing News:

The run-on continues on the message board, the Rel has been heavily damaged and infested with rebels but, thanks to Renoshi, has made it to rendezvous with the Immortal. Shield Squadron (minus Ren and Fox) are currently reloading aboard the Immortal before heading back into the fray outside.

Squad News:

Activity has been down slightly in the wake of LT Fox's resignation but hey, we're entitled to a little lull every now and then. Right, let's get back to it, there's plenty to do.

The Yod challenge goes on, I have two BSFs already. This is a tough little mission and every point counts so finish it anyway you can and refly for a higher score later.

Our comp against Tempest began on the 15th, the mission is TIE F160 which I haven't flown yet due to RL commitments over the weekend. This one's due on the 29th.

Staff positions are up for assignment, if anyone feels they want to take on some extra duties, just mail me and discuss it. All the staff positions are set out in the Relentless SSOs - if you've lost your copy there's another copy attached to this report.

Although it really belongs in next week's report, I want to announce Renoshi's promotion to Flight Leader of flight three. As I said on the mailing list, I'd considered opening some form of competition but in the end I opted for a tactical decision instead. Congratulations to Ren, I'd like to see some response to his ideas on communication from the rest of us. (myself included)

Thought for the day:

Edward McKenna, has just entered the Guiness book of records by attaching 117 clothes pegs to his face, just one peg more than the previous record. (why???!)

Respectfully Submitted
