Sword Squadron Report #8 - Submitted by Captain Nav'ric Trow

Two months as Sword CMDR over and done with. Looking forward to the next month.

Squadron News:

SwordCOMP - 'Top Gun' starts this week, see below for details!

This week we had two new arrivals... SL White Knight and SL Nom Ramadon. I'd like to welcome them both to the squadron on behalf of everyone. Soon after arriving, SL White Knight completed his INPR, did the IWATS RT, M/1 and M/2... this was soon followed by a promotion to the rank of Lieutenant, congratulations LT White Knight! You've made an incredibly impressive start, keep it up. On a more down note, LT Jaydar was officially AWOLed this week. Under LC Ted, he had been a promising pilot, but his return from leave is now more than 30 days overdue so i've had to let him go.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: I've just received some good new people, Colonel Ricaud, former Sword CMDR, Wing IX WC and Relentless COMx2 and a general ISD Relentless legend has put in his request to return to Sword Squadron, welcome back Ric! Sword is back to 12 pilots now.

Just for the record, last weekend and the beginning of this week was an incredibly busy time for me, so i'm sorry for the lack of activity. I'm back to normal work now so keep those TFRs/PLTs and stuff coming in. For anyone interested, the version of last weeks WSR can be found at:

With my return to normal work, the MSE's were filled and sent in this week, so keep an eye out for the rewards.

Lets try to use the message board a bit more again people, it's kinda frozen at 34 posts.

With the recent influx/departures of pilots, Captain Vector is updating the Citation Run list. When i've got the update version, we'll start flying some battles to throw together some more citations. Again, keep your eyes peeled for that.

Competitions:

SwordCOMP - Top Gun:

Here we go. The mission to fly is TIE-FREE 137. All submission are to be sent to CMDR Trow at EHTrow@aol.com by midnight on Saturday 16th March GMT. As the competitions name suggested, it's a Top Gun competition so fly it on hard and get the best score possible... good luck!

Conclusion:

Not a bad week as a whole, alot of impressive work has come out of LT White Knight, keep it up. Also, CM Xanthos has done a superb job with his flying, nice one Xan. Keep those TFRs/PLTs coming in people!
