Asp Squadron Commander’s Report 03.22.02
CMDR’s Thoughts:
Activity is picking up well in Asp! I appreciate the efforts everyone is putting in to their activity lately. LT Gistenjunge deserves special attention for working hard to win back a number of our Battle Citations as well this week! Well-done Gist!!
I’m a little disappointed in the lack of participation this week for the TOP ACE Comp. But I’m sure it has something to do with everyone in school preparing for Spring Break and so forth. But lets try to see about flying the mission each week if possible. ;)
With the loss of a couple pilots this week due to AWOL, we need to get cranking on recruiting once again. LCM John Clark has been the Recruiting King as of late. But I’d like to see someone else step up and take the honor for a bit. Remember, you can get a MoI for every pilot you recruit. If you recruit enough, you may even receive a medal from your CMDR as well. Just ask John, he received a PC from me for his heavy recruiting! J
Asp Squadron TOP ACE Competition:
Looks like this week LC Wil Striker gets the SP Kill Point! Unfortunately I was the only pilot to even submit a pilot file for this week’s mission. L
I sure hope to see better participation this next week. For a chance of pace I’m assigning a mission from a different platform to allow other pilots who don’t have XvT a chance to participate as well! If we still have a lack of participation we will return to using the XvT platform solely from then on.
Remember, winning LoC’s at any TIE Corps scheduled MP match also count for Kill Points.
This week, fly XWA-Free #19! All pilot files must be in my inbox my 12 PM (EST) Thursday in order to count for this round. Lets get to those fighters and get busy folks!
Multi-Player Competitions:
Just a reminder to everyone that there are plenty of MP competitions you can jump into each week. I encourage anyone that has the time, and hopefully a decent connection to make an attempt as often as possible to join in! ;)
Recruiting:
With the loss of two pilots due to AWOL, we are back down to 9 pilots. Lets keep up the recruiting efforts and see if we can’t find three more pilots!! J
Battle Citations:
Thanks to the efforts of LT Gistenjunge, we have 5 Battle Citations once again! This is great work, and I look forward to seeing that number climb in the future! Well done Gist!!

EH/TC News and Information:
Ø The XO has placed a new survey at the TC Survey Center to gauge opinion about how he is doing his job so far. For those of you that are new and have never completed a survey, just access your Admin Features and you’ll find a link to it at the top of your Admin Menu.

Ø New IWATS Course online!! That’s right, there’s a new IWATS course to take, IWATS XML. Do the Course today at http://www.imperialacademy.org/xml/!
Ø The XO has made some minor code updates, mostly changing all the TC.org URL references in generated emails to the emperorshammer.net domain. Also, the redirection functionality for stuff like PINs (ie. PIN.domain.com) have been changed to emperorshammer.net. If you encounter any errors or problems, let him know.
Ø The COO will be out of town from March 22 to April 1. During this time, any COO related matters should be addressed to COOA Kyle Katarn, but also sent to COO Khadgar so that he can read them upon his return.
Ø The SO will be on leave as of tomorrow (23rd March) until the 8th April. His Command Attaché, RA Keldorn shall be dealing with ALL Security Office related matters. ISB will be dealt with by him, as well as all case assignments and while the SO is away RA Keldorn speaks with the SO’s full authority.
Squadron Commander’s Orders:
Ø All pilots are required to dress in the new Standard Duty Uniform during duty hours, and acquire the new Ceremonial Dress Uniform for special occasions. If you are unable to create your own uniform contact LC Striker ASAP and he will make you a new uniform.
