Mantis Squadron WSR for week ending Thurs. April 4 2002

Squadron Status:

-Drax has been promoted and has taken the CMDR spot for Hornet squadron. I wish him luck and also want to mention that this is the second Mantis in a row (that I know of) to have been promoted to Hornet CMDR from Mantis XO... must be the water ;)
-With Drax' promotion I will be moving LCM Serge Broskopf up to FL III and moving Erryc into the 3-2 spot.
-COL Miackus has left us for the reserves due to, among other things, no moniter to use on his computer.
-COL Hizad has joined Mantis squadron at 1-2 and is doing a great deal of flying for us!
-LCM Drake Jensen is the new XO for Mantis Squadron, he'll be the guy who's there when for some odd reason I disappear. ;)
- Drax gave me news that Erryc is on leave in Jersey. Hope he returns soon.

Wing News:

- MAJ Sarin got "demoted" to Wing Commander in replacement of COL Hizad. He has already implemented a few suggestions that were given by Drax, Vallyn, Strahd myself and a few other pilots. Please refer to his latest report to see what they are.
-Drax got promoted to Hornet CMDR and Vallyn got promoted to Wasp CMDR! Great work boys!
-CM Goad was moved to a FM spot in Hornet while he is sorting out personal problems. Good luck my friend.

Ship News:

-In the ASF SC 4 comp, we are currently holding over 2600 points in under 5 days! That's enormously good (at least I think so...)! Keep up the good work all and bring the Vanguard glory!

Squadron Activity:

CMDR/CM Zoron: Awarded PC for March work and 2 LoCs for XWA WoW wins from March. Flew XWA-DB #1, 2 & -TC #24, 28. XvT-DB #4 and -TC #17. Won LoC in Tempest Storm and 2 LoCs in Frozen Doom. Completed XvT Mission Design course, also wrote TIE Design course, still waiting for results.
FM/COL Hizad: Moved to Mantis from WC. Flew XWA-FREE #55, -DB #1 and -TC #28. Also participated in various MP comps this week. Great job!
FL/LCM Drake Jensen: Awarded CoB. Flew a lot of free missions: XvT-FREE 3-17 (14 FREEs, /me weeps, soooo many BSFs to do... :P ) Won LoC in Frozen Doom.
FM/COL Miackus: Transferred to the RSVs.
FL/LCM Drax Remlinger: Promoted to CM and has moved to Hornet CMDR. Won LoC in Frozen Doom
FM/LCM Serge Broskopf: Awarded ISM for March MSE. Flew XWA-TC #6. Won 2 LoCs in Tempest Storm and 2 more in Frozen Doom! Way to go!
FM/CM Erryc Lasitter: On leave.

A spectacular week guys! I loved it! I had a total of 35 emails pertaining to promos, medals, and BSFs etc... IN 4 DAYS!!! That's spectacular guys!
One request, please check out the Vanguard site and look at the PBT and find out what battles need to be flown! When we get new pilots in we want as many new citations as possible! Have fun all!
