Just a reminder that submissions for the Newsletter will be accepted up until the 1st of April this time. This is due to the release of Jedi Outcast and I would just love some reviews of the game. If you want to write a review, you'll need the following information in it:
Your ID line, obviously
Your system's specs (at least include CPU, RAM, video card and operating system. If you want to be picky and include more, that's up to you)
Areas you might want to consider when writing your review would be sound, graphics, plot/storyline, control and how much the lightsaber kicks ass (or doesn't if that's the case)
A final summary and/or score
Some pictures would be nice too
Also, if you have a more general article idea relating to Jedi Outcast, the original Jedi Knight or Lucasarts/Star Wars games in general, send them in too.

I'm gonna try something new this week, i'm gonna tell you what i want to see each of you doing.

SL Rondo - Fly a TC battle or Write your INPR so i can promote you to LT.

CPT Vuffi Raa - Report in, and fly as much as you used to do.

CPT Phalk Sturm - Continue as normal.

LT Tarrafal - Continue with good scores for Squad League, and try flying for quantity too.

LCM Trowa - Fly some TIE!!

LC Indaro Gallia - Annoy your pilots so much they win SoM for April.


I'll also point out some facts the new pilots might be interested in

1. SoM goes to the squad which flys the most missions. These missions can be flown on easy with all cheats enabled for speed.

2. Flying 20 missions in a week earns you an ISM, 40 a PC and 80 a BS.

Anyone not following these is subject to being removed.

1. I expect all FMs to contact their Flight Leaders at least once a week, either by email, ICQ or IRC etc.

2. I expect everyone to participate in all competitions, except when there is a clash with important RL events, i.e. exams, illness etc
3. I want everyone to fly at least one battle or two free missions a week, alternatively you can create graphics, write fiction or create missions as long as the effort is the same as flying a battle or mission. Competition TFRs count as double, so you only need to fly one free mission if it's for a comp.

4. Flight Leaders - You will report to me at the end of each week detailing which of members of their flight have or haven't reported in and what they've done during the past week. Also, you will pass on to me any TFRs, fiction, graphics etc. you receive from your pilots.

5. Flight leaders - You are expected to be an example to your flight members and should typify what they are trying to become. I expect regular contact from you and input into how the squadron should be run and any changes that could be made for the better.

It doesn't take long to fly 2 free missions, you can even do it on easy if you must, you only need to fly on hard when it's a comp and scores are important.
