NEWS

Yaaaaay big week. Well, for me anyway; none of you losers did anything. I went to Warped Tour in San Francisco and … wow. Less Than Jake is truly the greatest band to grace a stage… and I really need to get out more, lest I receive yet more of the horrendous sunburns I got. But anyway…

Strahd is indeed alive, as is evidenced by his posting thrice on our lovely message board… You guys are giving the janitors a pretty damn easy job, since nooooobody is cluttering up the board with you know, “posts” or anything. Keep it up!

Flying: (That’s a large blank). I’ve set up another Scorpion Kickstart competition, niiiice and boring, top score on a battle gets an IS-BW. It’s not approved yet, but I’ll forward details when it is. However… BIG COMP!!!!!!!!!!! Top Dog, our wing-wide flying competition, will be running throughout August. I want to show off in this… and I don’t want it to be just me. I really really really want all y’all to just fly. Just a little. My cousin’s squad on the Colossus is way outperforming us. They only have 4 people. And one of them has been HCI’d and can’t get FCHG. It’s the COLOSSUS, for crying out loud. We’re supposed to be the ASF, the cool MP folks who are the only people actually doing anything in the fleet… I remember way back……………

ORDERS

1: Deal with Real. (Just made that one up!) Real life is where it's at, and nothing in the TC can supersede it, so remember that this is all fun… not an obligation.

2: Fly! It’s summer… If you’re off of school, you either have no time, or a lot of time! Please find some time, whatever you’re doing, to just fly a battle here and there, or hang around in #ehcoc and try to get a game or something.

3: Do other stuff! The banner is taken care of and the website probably is as well, but there are all kinds of things you can do… especially if you’re eligible for some sort of promotion (Blastfire, Specter, Steel in a month or so)… IWATS, fiction, graphics, all kinds of competitions… the FO has his INPR comp still running. And showing up on IRC or just mailing me for whatever reason can’t hurt at all. Also, the VAN’s numbers are slipping alarmingly… recruit! Surely you know a couple of people who would be interested…
