Crusader Weekly Squadron Report

From the Commander's Office
Wing Commander's Own for June is ours. Congratulations, people. Hopefully we can snag it two months in a row. In the first row of awards, Lt. Somnos was promoted to Lt. Commander and awarded an Imperial Security Medal. Way to go!
Squadron activity is a tad less than normal, but that is to be expected. Hopefully it'll pick up soon, especially multi-player.
The squadron website is still coming along, extremely slowly. Err, don't expect it anytime soon is all I can say.

Captain Picard is the new CMDR of Valkyrie, my first squadron. He's been there for almost four years, so many congrats go out to him.
Major DarkC is new Tarter Sauce CMDR, replacing Lt. Colonel Jdf1984. He's been gone for a while now, I suppose.
Major Hev, Captain Choosh, and myself are organizing Grey Wolf Training Comp. With the heavy decline of multi-player activity in the wing, we will be starting on Sunday the 16th, immediatly following the Wing meeting. Basically, this is a weekly training session that is based off a ladder. We have staff members that you'll fly against, and learn tactics, etc. I encourage all pilots in the squadron (and Wing) to attend. Iron Stars (Silver and Bronze Wings) will be awarded for "winning" each session. E-mail myself, Choosh, of Hev for more information.
Admiral Darksaber has "Anna Darksaber" going on right now. You've all been e-mailed, its been on the boards, and its been on the boards.
Fleet News
Only thing worth noting is that comps in #ehcoc are now run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You have no excuses not to fly now. Anyone with a 56k modem is more than capable of flying multi-player in there, and there is ALWAYS someone in there who's ready to play.
