SQUADRON NEWS:
News :
SA Astatine is in big trouble for something I didn't see and has been found guilty by the HCI. Basically, you won't see him on IRC for a month.
MSE has been sent in to the WC and COM....but don't be surprised if Santa Yoda doesn't pay a visit.
I have been chosen to submit to the gungan WC and write him a Pizza story...poor me.
AD Darksaber has his big comp out at the moment.Anna Darksaber.
New system of honouring pilots of the ASF, the Knight of the Aggressor. Dax Corrin the first winner.
Medals :
Silver Star of the Empire to LCM Apophis Kuma! Woah!AK has been working his butt off in the TAC office and earnt a big reward.
Order of the Vanguard to CPT Yoda for one year of Imperial Service. In other words....I have wasted a year of my life on the computer when I could have been solving world hunger.
Transfers :
MAJ Kelh --> RSV (Got a post grad)
CM Kael --> Valkyrie (Transfer in the works)
Promotions : None, but some of you are are eligable or are eliagble very soon.
WAR ROOM NEWS:
SSL : Ghorg!?! Where was your submission? We had three good submissions, thanks to MAJ Kelh who submitted even though he has left us. AK beat the HS by a few thousand, I was just under, and Kelh contributed nicely.

School hols are in and school work is out!
I have two more weeks of nothingness and flying to do. I like flying.....therefore I fly. Thats why I am in the club. Think....why are you?
For whatever reason you are....it comes down to enjoyment. So lets have a good time.To cut to the chase....Odin has three active members. This means what? This means :
RECRUITING!
I am going to assign each of you to an area of recruiting that you can do.
LCM Apophis Kuma : Infiltrator Wing (Old contacts, etc)
LT Ghorg : Cadets on Daedalus (See below for guidelines)
CPT Yoda : RSVs
We should get back up to 4 or 5 members pretty quickly, any cadet with no squadron preference will come to squadrons with few members. Basically this means any XvT cadets for us, because we are an XvT ship.
When emailing cadets:
You are only allowed to offer help. You can't actually say "Join Odin". You can mention it like : Im a member of Odin...but anything more than that is breaking the rules. So dont do it.
You have all been through the IWATs and flying components of the training....and it is easy. But it can seem intimidating and difficult to a newbie cadet. So help them. Introduce them to IRC and add them as a MSN contact. MSN and IRC provide instant communication...something that helps when instructing them with their training. Trust me, I know. I have been on both ends of the process, talking to cadets on MSN and being taught. The reason I came to Odin...almost a year ago, was that Kelh (CM back then) made the effort to talk to me. SO it does work.Assignments:

This is due in early, on Tuesday the 15th. MAKE SURE I GET IT!
I believe that we can make it to at least the semifinals. Previous rounds do not count....elimination from now on!
