Well it's been another quiet week in the squadron. Not much happening at all, except for a fair bit of IRC chatting :P I haven't even got any BSF's!!! We have got the Krayt v Asp Comp still going though and the new Intrepid Activity Comp, so I'm hoping to see a bit more activity next week! SSL Round 8 also finishes tonight at midnight(US-EST), so I will be sending in our files for that later tonight! We are currently in good standing, so I think we should finish alright at the end, especially being we've only got 3 pilots flying in it for us!

General News;

 

 - Frodo has started another comp for us aboard the Intrepid. It's similar to the Supremacy Comp that was in January, so check it out at http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=676 and get active!!

 - The TAC's Mission Compendium has reached 3000 missions! There was also some more battles released this week: XvT-TC 74-77, XvT-Free 148 and TIE-TC 212.

 - Avenger Squadron currently has an MP driven 'recruitment' competition starting this weekend. Check the TC news page if you wanna participate, for details.

 - Following the resignation of the Grey Wolf Wing Commander, Lt. Colonel Archon, a new Wing Commander was chosen.....Congrats to MAJ Hev Randrowan on his promotion to WC, and to being the first gungan to be promoted to a flag position TWICE!

 - XWA WoW L  ends this Saturday at 2pm US-EST, so we still have a little time to get some games in if we wish.

 - Darksaber's ASF Banner Comp is still running, it finishes midnight tonight, so if you have one to submit, make sure you get it in before it's too late!

 - HA Priyum Patel also has 2 GFX comps for an FO link banner and an FO splash page graphic. Both comps are open until the 6th of July, so there is still a few more days left for this one too.

 - Pri also started another comp this week - to write his INPR. Check the TC news page for more details. Comp ends 13th of July!

 

Squadron News;

 

 - RECRUIT.....RECRUIT.....RECRUIT!!!! ;)

 - Krayt Squadron Website is back up again -- http://krayt.squadron.org/ -- It's also updated!

 - The Krayt v Asp Squadron Comp has another week to go - Krayt currently leads 20 to 15. I'd like to see a bit more activity in this next week though guys. I'm the only one to fly thus far.

 - It was set in stone last weekend, but if you dont know yet, Krayt Squadron is the new Wing Commander's Own squadron for winning the Intrepid MP Competition! Wear the title in your signatures proudly. However, due to the new Intrepid Activity Comp, we might not have it for long!

 - Well, I got and forwarded on the Round 7 inclusive stats for the SSL Comp, and here is a few snipets;

       

     Squadron Placings - Overall: 14th in XvT(from 16th) and 15th in XWA(from 21st).

 

Seeing only SavageAz and I have flown so far, here is a little snipet on how we're going;

 

     SavageAz - TIE: 55th overall(out of 130 pilots).

     SavageAz - XvT: 16th overall (from 21st) and 22nd in 'Space Superiority'.

     CrimsonFury - XvT: 28th overall (from 30th) and 25th (from 28th) in 'Space Superiority'.

     CrimsonFury - XWA: 17th overall (from 28th) and 18th(from 20th) in 'Space Superiority'.

 

 So as you can see last round was good to us. Unfortunately this round aint gonna be so nice, they've done a good job of picking fairly difficult missions, so we'll have to see how we've finished sometime next week when the full results come out!
