Squadron News
-Ahahahahaha!!! I'm back doing reports!! yay!! the happy routine is back! . I want to make a special mention for Tempest's excellent performance as A-CMDR during my forced leave. Well done indeed Tempie! Ah, and the statue is going to be transformed in an ellegant ashtray for my office. I'll just remove the ugly head :p
-Lots of things happening! things moving around! Medals flying! Congratulations go to LCM Tempest and LCM Tim who both received a Palpatine Crescent for long standing service and loyalty to Kappa and Wing II, always with excellence and pride. Gratz and beer's on you both!
-Kappa is Wing Commander's Own for October!! Yipee!! Let's party till the fat hutt lady sings. Yeah, wasn't such a good choice but was either her or an old womp rat. Hiring her was cheap, too. Bah, use your imagination...or close your eyes when she strips :p
-Our longest serving officer on Kappa, CM Jan Wemmel, a great pilot and my friend, has been invited to join the elite Praetorian Squadron for a 3 month tour of duty. He has decided to accept such a great honor, and he is currently taking the trials to become a member of Prae. Good luck on the tests, Janman, and it's an honor serving alongside with you!
-I'm 23 now :p
-If anyone by any chance has a way to communicate with CM Hawkins, let me know. His mail addy returns all the mails with "full inbox" messages, and he may be considered Missing in Action soon.
-The Oktoberfest is over! with full resluts coming out after the weekend (Roasty will be busy working on a National Census on his country this week), I will hereby announce the winners:
Graphics division: BOOOO!! no submissions
Fiction division: BOOHOO!! no submissions
(Roasty will place these two IS-BRs on a frame and he'll hang them on the entrance of the briefing room with the inscriptions "these two could be hanging from your chest", leaving a blank space for the ocassional joker who will surely write things along the lines "the solution: Hutt Sillicons (tm)" :p
Mission Design: LCM Hermann!!! Only submission on this category, I'll attach the mission on the full resluts report. Gratz and an IS-BR!!
FCHG Race: LCM Hermann again!! I have to count the last submissions, but he surpassed the 70 FCHG points. Gratz and an IS-BW!!
Flying division: CPT Algaron!! Won by a safe margin, he gets a shiny IS-BW!! gratz!!

-Kappa vs Stalker is over :p Their CMDR is gone, and I think we can assume we won...I'll contact their A-CMDR soon just in case. Anyway I'll try to take a chance and see if we can get the medal for the top scorer.
-This week's Ol' Roasty's word o' advice: "Donn't volunteer on censuses (is that right? :p) when the probability of getting paid for it is sligthy smaller than 1 in a ten followed by a big bunch of zeroes" :p
And another advice, grab the last Episode 2 trailer "Forbidden Love"...this movie may be on the right path...

-The Wing II Pilot League season 2 is ON!!! With Kappans fighting in all of the divisions, the struggle is hard yet very fun. Let's prevail over em all!! This week we fly TIE-FREE 177, submit it before Sunday to Algy CCing me of course. GO KAPPA!!!
-Mascot Power Battles is ON!! We won the first round, and we need to keep our lead. So, XWA-kappans, fly XWA-IW 26 and submit it this week! GO WING II !!!

-XWA Private Hosted Wargame
I'm willing to host an XWA wargame, similar to Imperial Storm II, for 3 individuals. It will consist of a free for all wargame which will last about 30 wargame days. (A little over one month, depending on how fast a wargame is done.)
Requirements are that you have XWA, a stable internet connection to play the game online for battles between fleets, willing to send reports/orders for your fleet everyother day and willing to have fun! There are no medals involved, just fun.
This is a first come first serve basis so contact me, LC Stele Pellaeon, at tieknt@juno.com ASAP.

-VanCOM Resigns
With the recent resignation of Rear Admiral Zippy Hawk as Commodore of the ISD Vanguard, the position is now open for applications.
All applicants should be able to demonstrate motivation for the position, as well as any ideas they have for the ship. In addition, command experience at Wing Commander level (or equivalent) is a big plus. For more information on the position of Commodore, please see the Training Manual entry located here.
A reminder that the ISD Vanguard is a multiplayer ship (XWA). All applications should be sent to Admiral Cyric and Fleet Admiral Priyum.
