CM Loran paces in his office muttering something about Squadron Citations being gone because Hotshot went AWOL. He starts trying to think of a way to motivate people to fly more.... "In otherwords, people, I'm asking you all to fly at the very least, a Free Mission every week, a Battle would be better, but a Free Mission at the very, very, very, very, very least"

v LCM Max participated in the XvT WoW and was awarded 1 LoC, Congrats!
v LCM Jennif Es’mith underwent surgery on the 23rd. Our thoughts and prayers were with her, and now she is apparently doing fine and feeling better. Glad you’re OK, Jennif.

v NEW MASCOT!
Wing V assembled at the orders of WC SickMan, he said he had news to tell of the Mascot outcome & other news.

The squadron lined up in orderly fashion and WC SickMan was at the front with his trusty side-kick Pip (The Imperial Dog) his assistant`s Skiny, Iggy & Colin

"Members of Wing V, first up, well done all on the continued growth and act=
ivity here in Wing V, with the new CMDR`s are in place and our member count
to 40 and I am proud of you all for picking yourselves up and showing the rest of the fleet what you can do. If we all continue to better ourselves and bring glory to our Wing.........and most of all to have fun:) ,then we can hit that goal of 50 members by Jan. 1st 2002."

les, The Eagle......

"I will leave the name of our new mascot upto you Wing V, now for your good=
work, the first round of drinks in Airlock#21 is on me, dismissed!"

Also I`m announcing three flying comps using the three flying formats.

Comp3 is XWA-TC#19

Deadline is October 31st

Highest scorer for each format will win a IS-SW

Lastly Comp4 will be a writing comp like last month, get your Shakespeare heads on and write something, anything Wing V related, winner of the best will win a IS-SR, deadline is again October 31st

All pilots are invited to design a home page for the SSSD Sovereign to replace the one previously hosted by GN Wolly.
Required elements: Navigation scheme, HTML design for Sovereign home page and the following additional pages: News, Ship Data, War Room (competitions), Cantina (gateway to message board, IRC information, etc.), Wings, Commodore's Office, Art Gallery, Fiction Compendium.

Winning entry may be used as the new SSSD Sovereign home page.
Optional elements: Main logo, link banner, other graphics. Some graphics may be used as the new elements of the Sov page and in a new art gallery.
