Hello and welcome to the next Tartarus Squadron report! Another quiet week passed as Tartarus Squadron commander worked hard. Let's get on to the report.

SQUADRON ISSUES

CITATIONS. Well, you might ask me what the hell citations are doing here? The answer is simple. This is our priority for the next week. A word of explanation: we have 4th position in TIE Corps and 2nd in the Agressor Strike Force. But within this week, with a joint effort to fly a specific battle, we can take the 3rd position. I will issue a special report regarding that matter within 48 hours.
NEW COMPETITIONS. Yes, that is right, you can expect us to get into new competitions. I'm working on a bigger competition project right now. Stay tuned.

HOLONET NEWS UPDATE

1. We are victorious!!! Tartarus Squadron won the Vortex Invitational Tournament. Good job, everyone! You made me proud.
2. Some personal shifts in Vortex squadron. CM Gilad took command of Echo Squadron aboard ISD/II Vanguard. Congratulations. Also, LT Holu transferred out to Fury. And rumours are that CPT Sarin applied for the vacant position of Avenger CMDR. Our eyes will be on Vortex now, also because...
3. LCM BlackHero has announced the fact that he is a father now! CONGRATULATIONS MAN!!! I suppose we need to do a celebration party.
4. Also, the wing had various other transfers in and out, with few good vets back and few mates leaving. :(
5. Valkyrie CMDR, CM Mace, released the new WSR today. I'm positively shocked!!! Absolutely great, matey!!!
6. Website projects advancing. Vortex opened their own web site at this url: http://www25.brinkster.com/mantis2100/vortex/vortex.html
and we have ours almost ready. CM Leslaw does some minor adjustments now.
7. I am quite proud to announce that my course, IWATS Linux, will be available soon! After 3 months it was finally fully reviewed and accepted and I saw the rustic course webpage today (by Astatine). The course will consist of few parts, of which the 1st is to be released now. The notes for it have been put online. If you wish to explore Linux, this is the course for you.
8. Few other command changes: VA Mell appointed new BGCOM, new flag staff on ISD Colossus (RA Absolut Vodka and LC Drake).
9. The mission compendium reached 2000 positions. Yay!!! Yet more things to fly!
