Hello everyone, sorry for the delay but here's the latest
edition of the ever incomparable Hammer Weekly Squadron Report!!
Fleet News:
-Evermore turn over in the upper ranks. WC for Wing I has been
filled by LC Murad Ibn Mark, congratulations. The command
position for Praetorian is still open. Furthermore, our
longtime XO, SA Kawolski has stepped down and turned over the
reigns to Asatine. Let's wish our former XO the best for the
future!
-not much else going on outside of the battlegroups.
Wing News:
-Priority Alpha-One: The Fighting Ninth is currently involved in
the battlegroup-wide Highlander competition pitting various
squadrons from each ISD against eachother. Hammer drew Pi for
the first round and results will be discussed in the squadron
section.
-Priority Bravo-Two: Does anyone really have what it takes to
knock-off LCM Dupuy from his perch as Wing Top Gun? Well, we'll
see by the end of this month after the January installment of
the Wing Top Gun Competition. The mission is TIE-FREE #148,
everyone head off to your cockpit and fry some rebels!!
Squadron News:
LCM Neko appointed XO for Hammer Squadron!!
Due to his excellent flight record and comittment to Hammer, I
have selected Neko to be my right-hand man. His duties include
cleaning my office, parking my TIE Defender and filling in as
commander when ever I need to go on leave. :P This is a well
deserved appointment and I want to thank Neko for all of his
hard work.
-Our illustrious FL Neko has succeeded in picking a fight with
Thunder squadron on their message board. For now it's a war of
words, but with a little more wood on this fire we should have
ourselves our first squadron challenge of 2002. Stay tuned!!
-Highlander Competition news:
I want to thank my steady pilots Neko, Dupuy, and Shae for
holding the fort for Hammer squadron in the first round of the
Highlander Comp. we averaged about 47K weighted while our
participating pilots averaged about 95K. Tycho and myself
submitted excuses and we should know shortly if they have been
approved. As for Tiger, I need you to ALWAYS write out an
excuse or fly when we have intersquad competitions. Our pride
and reputation are always on the line when we engage in this
type of competition and I won't have this squadron's hard work
fail due to one slacker pilot. Get on the ball Tiger and make
sure I know what's going on.
