CMDR’s Thoughts:
First my thanks to LCM Clark for his efforts to win Asp 2 brand new Battle Citations! That brings us up to 13 now, so lets keep going people! The rest of you really need to get more active and involved if we are to win more.
AWOL Check:

I’m going to allow one more week for those that might have been tied up with schoolwork or other RL issues. But anyone that fails report in for the AWOL Check by 2/7/02 will be removed from the Asp roster. I’m about to begin a serious recruiting campaign, and anyone that is not going to be active and available should be prepared to make room for those that will be. Sounds harsh yes. But what good is an inactive pilot? :P

Asp Squadron TOP ACE Competition:
Well, this is deeply disappointing. No one noticed that I didn’t release a battle this past week. Which means that apparently no one actually cares about this competition. Unless I receive word from everyone about continuing this competition I will either discontinue it, or will continue to run it and claim all the honors myself.
**Note: CMDRs should not be the winners of these types of competitions. :P
Multi-Player Competitions:
The Wing Commander is seeking the assistance of Asp Squadron to help motivate other pilots into flying in MP engagements. I see no problem with this, especially since we ARE a MP squadron, so lets get to it and start making a showing at the weekly competitions people!
Recruiting:
As CMDR I am responsible for the maintaining of the squadron. However, it is not the sole duty of the CMDR to recruit new pilots into the squadron. I suggest that everyone take some time in the next week to see about assisting one of the many recruits on the M/PLT Daedaleus. Remember, we can offer to assist CT’s, but no offers of direct recruitment are allowed unless the CT requests additional information about possibly joining our squadron or wing.
Battle Citations:
We’re now sitting with 13 Battle Citations! Come on folks, lets get busy and get more. There are at least 21 we can have if everyone flies the XvT battles, let alone the extras for the XWA battles as well. J
