Hornet Squadron Report for 01/25/02

CMDR Goad walked into the Hornet Ready Room and was
surprised to see in the room LT Montte and LCM Optimus
and a large bucket.
"Whats that doing here?" Goad asked indicating the
bucket.
"We dont know sir," replied Montte.
"It was here when we cmae in," added Optimus.
Goad considered this for a minute, then decided it
wasnt really worth thinking about.
"Never mind," he said to the two pilots,"Good work
this week by the way."
"Thankyou sir," replied Montte and Optimus in unison.
Goad thought for a moment if he had anything else to
say but decided he didnt.
"Dismissed."
Goad went to the comm. station to speak to his friend
Erryc Lasitter, CMDR of Mantis Squadron.
"Hey Dan," said Lasitter as soon as he saw him,"what
can I do for you?"
Goad wondered how the best way to put it was and then
said,"You wouldnt happent o know the number for the
cleaners would you?"

Hornet News

Again Id like to stress completing XWA-TC Battles 1-4
if you havnt already. These are the basic battles and
I know they are really diffcult so i dont want to set
them for a competition.

Our squadron competition should have finished but
since i am the only one who as flown it so far ill let
it go another week.

Our Wing Commander decided to award loads of stuff
this week so there is lots of medals and promotions.
Those of you who didnt get anything, start flying and
youll get it soon!

We also lost another pilot today. LT Hex Ra Kun has
asked to be transferred to reserves becasue of lack of
activity due to RL commitments. Hopefully he will be
back with us one day.

There are lots of competitions on at the moment. The
Mantis vs Hornet competition has been postponed due to
several pilots technical problems and the amount of
other things running. Other competitions include the
Week of War, the Prelude to Andevia, the Vanguard
Article comps and loads more. In addition for those of
you that didnt know the Weekend of War has been
postponed until next week
