Squadron News
*Congratulations to LT Iron Mark for being awarded an ISM. LT Devon was awarded a PC. And LT Allco was awarded a Bronze Star for last month's activity. LT Allco was also awarded an IS-BW for flying the second most number of missions in the wing last month.
*Activy is doing really well, especially considering that we have seveal pilots on leave right now.
*Now for the bad news....this is the last report I will make as Ghost Commander. Just this morning, I sent off my request to step down from the position of squadron commander. I will be remaining in Ghost as a FM, so you can't get rid of me that easily. There are several reasons. The biggest one is lack of time on my part. In the past, I have seen commanders who didn't have much time to take care of their duties, and it usually happens that the squadron seems to suffer because of it before they do finally step down. I don't want that to happen to Ghost, so I am stepping down now, while activity is high, so the squadron does not suffer.
I have enjoyed my time as squadron commander. Each and every one of you have been a pleasure to deal with and get to know. I have also recommended several people as possible replacements, but I don't know who will be the final choice will be.
Squadron Status
Current comp is to increase your FCHG points as much as possible for the month of Feb. The fastest way to do this is to fly Battles from the mission compedium. This will not be affected by the new command change. I will inform the new commander of this comp so he can continue through this month.
