Praetorian Squadron Report
February  24 th , 2002
Squadron News:

*  Another pilot arrived to us Praetorian. LCM Rollins, welcome!

*  We did great in Intel's Cross Training competition. Almost everyone participated and we recieved 2 medals for that. Very good work!! 

* The discussion about a weekly meeting has continued. It seems hard to find a time when everyone can make it.

*  Our number of citations has increased to 95 because of all the battles you fly. Good work and keep it up!

*  The point system that was introduced some time ago will probably be changed a bit. I have noticed that it is very easy to get those points you need for a medal and as much as you fly, I am sure OPS Office will not allow all medals to be awarded. So the number of points will be raised but how much I don't know at the moment.  yst

*  Second round of LCM Derek Dan's weekly quiz ended yesterday. I hope you participate in it.

* LCM Derek Dan tog initativ on his own a made a Flight III report. Well done! I want to see stuff like that from all of you. Take initiativ, make or do things on your own to improve the squadron. I appreciate that.

*  A little update on my battle board project: I have not got my server to work properly with the MySQL server. I will reinstall it and change Linux distribution from Red Hat 7.2 to Slackware 8.0. Another reason that I am doing that is to learn more about Linux.
