Sunday again, report time again. Yeah, again from your A-CMDR, as a new
man for that position still wasn't announced...

Squadron News

- As you all know, Roasty reported in today, and we're all very
relieved that he is - more or less - well! I hope your life will be
normalized again soon, for we're all looking forward to you
rejoining us. :)
- Hermann left us in direction of Praetorian Squadron. :(
Good luck there, Hermann! I know it hasn't been very nice in Kappa
for the past weeks, but I hope in three months, when your Tour of
Duty is over, it is attractive enough again to make you come back.
- The person who will take the rudder until Roasty can return has not
been chosen yet, see introduction. Let's hope Ford can make up his
mind next week.
- Ford started a new competition that will force the pilots of the
month's least active squad to change their names to diseases! Though
a cool idea, you really can't count the days until you give us a new
CMDR, Ford. :P
- LT Dunkat, a former Kappa pilot, has rejoined the Wing...
unfortunately for us, in Sin and not Kappa. Of course nevertheless,
welcome back! :)
- Theta also got a new pilot in SL Gary Serpent...which painfully
reminds us of our own low number of pilots. Our main effort in the
following weeks must therefore be recruitment. See orders section.

- BE ACTIVE OR YOUR NAME WILL BE LCM LEPROSY OR LT GONORRHEA SOON! :)
For these names will be the punishment for the least active squad
in one month's time!
Admitted, as we are still CMDR-less, we don't have own comps
running, but where's the problem with that?
You don't know what to do? Fly TIE-FCHG 2 for the Andevia comp! You
also have the chance to win a medal there!
Just fly battles, these will also increase your FCHG rank!
Be communicative! Write mails and be on IRC! (/me has to pet Zyrax
and Ninj here :P).
And I have another fine job FOR YOU ALL:
- As I already said above, it is absolutely essential and TOP PRIORITY
to recruit new pilots into Kappa! After Timmay and Hermann left us,
Roasty now is in the reserves and Hawkins and Todbringer are
inactive, we must increase our efforts to fill our ranks. For
Kappa's and also Wing II's sake, for a flying comp against Wing I is
imminent. So get us new pilots!

Internet Office Project Hawkeye Released!
Several months ago the Internet Office announced plans for the first
ever Internet Office Competition, entitled Project Hawkeye. Not much
info was released, and with good reason. Today, we finally present
to you the public site for Project Hawkeye. Linked to it is the URL
for the Qualification Test for entering the second phase of the
competition. What is the second (and main) stage? It's a series of
missions designed to be completed on the Internet, run by the
Hawkeye Admin Team. We well accept 20-25 people from those that take
the Qualification Test to participate. If you're not accepted,
you'll be prepared for the next episode of this competition, coming
this summer, Project Hawkeye II! Don't forget to read the FAQs on
the Hawkeye site!

There's been a lot of speculation and questions over the ATF & DB
rule recently, and after discussing it with several people, I've
decided to modify and clarify it for everyone's benefit:
Flight Members and Flight Leaders in the ATF are NOT required to
join the Dark Brotherhood, but are highly encouraged to do so. Of
course, it will ultimately be the choice of the individual pilot if
he or she wishes to join.
Squadron Commanders and above in the ATF MUST be members of the DB
and hold the rank of Acolyte or higher.
Hope this settles things.

cheating cases resolved, mainly concerning XWA battles (and some XvT
BoP as well). You may want to check if some of your old files may
have a high score on those. If so, just submit it again to your
