Another week has passed and the most urgent questions for us Kappans
is still where Astarosta might be. Hermann, who also lives in
Argentina, though several hundred miles away, is trying to find him
now - good luck with that, Hermann! I hope you can find something out!
Roasty's absence has effects - apart from the personal ones. I think
it's a bad sign for our motivation if only three of us eight managed
to fly TC 125, which was announced top-priority by our WC. I can't
conceal that I'm a bit disappointed here.
Good work Zyrax and Algy for holding up the Kappa flag in this part of
the MPB, well done! I especially want to mention Algy because he
managed to fly it although he obviously had a lot of RL stuff to do
(business trips).

- Sovereign banner design contest still running! Here the details
again:
"Two categories:
Splash banner: 640x480 maximum size, gif or jpg format.
Link banner: 475x75 maximum size, gif or jpg format.
Awards: IS-GR, SR, BR in each category.
These banners are to be used on the Sovereign Web site and other
sites as graphic representations of the SSSD Sovereign. All
suitable entries will be posted in the Sovereign Art Gallery."

- Open Positions

There are currently two positions open in the TIE Corps to
applications from the general membership.
The first of these is the position of Wing I WC. Applicants are
expected to be able to meet the WC requirements as listed in the
Training Manual. In addition, familiarity with both TIE and XWA is
required, as well as absolute reliabilty. All applications should be
sent to Fleet Admiral Priyum and Vice Admiral Proton with Wing I
Application in the subject of the email.
The second position is that of Praetorian Commander. Applicants are
expected to meet all the usual requirements of the Squadron
Commander. Some experience as a Commander is essential. Membership
in the Intel Division is not required, but as PraeCMDR, you will be
expected to work with them. Remeber that Praetorian is an Elite
Squadron, and as such, a high standard will be required from those
interested. Applications for this position should be sent to Fleet
Admiral Priyum and Rear Admiral Jordynn with PraeCMDR Application in
the subject of the email. Good luck.

has now been exactly 1000 courses passed!! We are the first academy
other than IWATS to hit this mark! The lucky person to be the 1000th
test taker was Mejas Doto, who just joined and is now in DiploServe!
