This week's grudge match:

Stormtroopers vs. Thunder Storms

--Serovich: Welcome to another of the crazy matches between seemingly unrelated things. Today we have a weather form against our standard ground troops.
--Kell: I see, well from what I know... stormtroopers are normally equipped with some form of white armor. Whatever suits their enviroment, be it desert, tundra, or space stations.
--Kaan: Thunder storms are atmospheric disturbances that bring some form of precipitation... and lightning.
--Serovich: Exactly, both are equipped with a form of energy weapons and have climate dependent variations.
--Kaan: So how can you compare them... ground troops... we have millions...
--Kell: But on many planets there have been a myriad of T-storms...
--Serovich: Well it boils down to this... at least lightning hits and kills a few times a year.
--Kaan: (Hammer's Fist platoon commander) hey!!!! *takes out his rifle and shoots towards Serovich*
--Serovich: Gah!

Morale: Watch out for LTs with stormy temperments...


News:

Another good week for Slayer. Quite a bit of activity especially from LT Kaan. The AWOL check deadline is today. A few haven't replied, so I am sending a *FINAL* notice out. We'll probably lose a few but then the remaining pilots will be stronger. Hopefully we can regain the #1 spot in the wing and possibly the battlegroup! Speaking of which, the Squadron of the Month point system will be started this week. I will also try to make a Pilot of the Month system up. I believe there may be an official way of doing this. I will try to find it or make one up myself. (Thanks to LCM Phantom for that idea.) Also LCM Turtle has suggested we have an internal competition. We will start these and they'll run for 2 weeks each. But first they must be approved by the TO. So, more on this later. If anyone has a platform or FREE mission in mind, email me. Phantom is making great uniforms so ask him, our Logistics officer, if you want a new updated uniform. Keep up the good work guys and keep your engines ready! :)
