Commander's Thoughts
-Greetings comrades at arms its time for another week in the life of Hornet Squadron and soon they all will fear the name Hornet. Seems we arent the slackers everybody made us out to be. We have earned considerable points in the SCIV coming in currently with about 1500 points. Not bad boys!!! Now for the longest time Hornet has sat on the bottom of the respect scale on the Vanguard with people laughing at you guys saying oh man they don’t do anything why don’t they just shut Hornet down…Well you guys keep this up and we will be the ones laughing. Seriously, Outstanding job guys..keep it up. I will be on leave for the weekend and my newly dubbed XO, CM Erryc Lasitter, will be handling things for me. Feel free to buzz him about anything. He is a excellent leader and he has my full support on all decisions while im away. I expect a full mailbox when I return and before you say but Drax you havent done squat and you want us to kill ourselves..Well starting next week, Drax is back and with a Vengeance. I not so long ago was turning out 20-30 battles a month and its due time I got off my butt and show you guys im with ya…Anyway lets keep it up …fly as much MP’s as you can to get those easy Combat Rating increases which by the way is worth 50 points along with FCHG rank increases. GO HORNET!!!!!

Squadron News:

-LT Jer Stryker is back now having seemingly fixed his joystick problems…welcome back Jer!!!
- Our competition(see above for current standings) started Monday. It is an FCHG race, each mission is worth 1 point and a battle is 1 point X #of missions so good luck. I really want to see us struggle for that IS-BW so have at it.
-Squadron nicknames, mottos, and Message Board Colors still up for discussion as of yet I have received no emails regarding ideas or suggestions so if you guys don’t want to help me out ill just make something up myself and you all know how twisted my ideas are so come on with suggestions.
-We really need to get some recruits for our squadron as they count for major points not to mention help us fill our empty spots so try to find some people wherever you can find em.

Wing/Ship News:
-Lets all pull together and hit the points for the SCIV big time this weekend, the Vanguard is still has a good chance to win it. Lets get it going and score some major points this week.

Battlegroup News:
-The ASF Supremacy Competition is still on, lets get those points up to support the Vanguard!!!!
-XWA WOW soon to begin..everybody not registered at battlestats should get signed up asap. If you need help look me up and I will help you all I can.
-There is a new wargame coming out! Imperial Storm III ! The official webpage is here: http://www.emperorshammer.net/wo/is3/. The VA wants the ASF to do well in this wargame and so this is a perfect time for the SC as we will be at our most active time of participation and allow us to buy more ships and craft in the wargame.
