Commander's Thoughts
-Greetings fellow Horneteers its time for another week in the life of Hornet Squadron and yes it is on its way to recovery. We are seeing increased activity even more this past week and hopefully this trend will continue. Almost everyone is doing excellent on battles and when at all possible everyone should try to get an MP event in because LoC's are worth lot's of SCIV points. The MP schedule can be found on the TC homepage but I will list them here this week just incase some of you don't know about it. Everybody should utilize our once dead message board for general news and things you would like to share with us or want the squadron opinion on, and we have a runon going in there if anybody is interested…its actually been pretty popular. We almost doubled our citations this week guys. We went from 9 to 15 in a week…that's awesome..keep it up because almost every battle you do is a citation.

Squadron News:

-I sent out an email out earlier in the week discussing the growing trend of Cheating, if you didn't get it let m know as we don't need any of our pilots being HCIed.
-LT Jer Stryker is still having joystick issues, but he has managed a way to still fly some battles.
- I have sent in a competition that should be starting Monday if it gets approved by then if not it will begin when it gets approval. It will be an FCHG race, each mission is worth 1 point and a battle is 1 point X #of missions so good luck. I really want to see us struggle for that IS-BW so have at it.
-I would really like you guys opinion on our squadron mottos and nicknames. I don't particularly get them but if you all came up with them and like them the way they are we will keep them. If you would like to change you particular flights motto or nickname please email me your suggestions.
-As most of you have seen, I changed the colors on the MB. Now these may not be the colors we stick with but that scheme you had going was making me think funeral so I livened it up a bit. Again if you have suggestions on a color theme, let me know.

Wing/Ship News:
-Lets all pull together and hit the points for the SCIV big time this weekend, the Vanguard is still in last place with approximately 9600 points….lets get it going and score some major points this week.

Battlegroup News:
-The ASF Supremacy Competition is still on, lets get those points up to support the Vanguard!!!!
-There is a new wargame coming out! Imperial Storm III ! The official webpage is here: http://www.emperorshammer.net/wo/is3/. The VA wants the ASF to do well in this wargame and so this is a perfect time for the SC as we will be at our most active time of participation and allow us to buy more ships and craft in the wargame. It starts April 22 so be ready!!
