CMDR Kenath Zoron reporting in for Mantis Squadron on 03.30.2002

As of late I've been noticing a certain trend... I don't know why this is but activity and motivational levels are dropping and people seem to be closing themselves up, at least when I'm around. If you have any problems, anything at all, come and talk to me and we will fix it. This recent bit of attitude has disturbed me as it seems to be chewing up what Erryc built into a great unit. I want to see that AY DO MANI ! tradition carry on to whomever it is after me and after that next person. Help me out here and if it's me, tell me about it. Don't be afraid of me, I won't bite your head off if you don't like what I'm doing or how I'm ru(i)nning things, just tell me and we'll work it out.

Squadron News:
-LT TK-8611 has left the TC after his parents felt that some of Drax' emails were offensive. I've reviewed the emails and find nothing, again, NOTHING, wrong with them and have dismissed the problem with a wave of my hand and this will be dropped.
-Miack has reported in to me! /me faints! Please note his new email is xwa1@c4.org. Update your address books. Miack currently does not have a moniter on his home computer so he's out of commision for a little while. One more thing, this is a good time to mention it: If your email addresses listed on the EH.net rosters are not the ones you use regularily, please email FO Priyum Patel at fo@emperorshammer.org and tell him about it and give him your new one. (hint hint Miack)
-Jensen's ROM drive got broken, he's out for a day or two until it gets fixed.
-We are expecting one or two (possibly three) new SLs in the coming week or so, make sure you have all the party supplies and pranks prepared! ;)
-There is a new IWATs course out! COL Miackus was the first of our squadron to take it! Way to go man! It's the BitchX course. Don't ask me how it got it's name, I haven't even looked at it yet. :P

Wing/Ship News:
-From what I can deduce from IRC and MSN time I've been online, our WC is on a quasi-leave. Which means that only our Commodore knows what happened to him :P
-MAJ Ekim Yellek has been promoted to LC and has stepped down as Scorpion CMDR. LC Yellek is now the A-WC so remember to CC him on anything that pertains to Wing activity.
-MAJ Strahd is the new Scorp CMDR. He and his squadron will be looking down our exhausts in the upcoming ASF:SC IV comp.
-CM Boris has stepped down as Wasp CMDR and has moved to (presumably) Wasp 3-1.
-I never really mentioned this when it occured, but our favorite Commodore was promoted to Vice Admiral and is currently off on the beaches of Aurora Prime celebrating with the Auroran females and drinking poor quality (root)beer. We pity him ;)

Battlegroup News:
-The ASF Supremacy Competition starts Monday and will last TWO, repeat TWO, months. This was changed recently because many university students in the ASF have midterms and finals (?) in April and wouldn't be able to compete competitively. So that means we in Mantis will have to lead the charge for the Vanguard and show the rest of the ASF that we won't roll over and die because we're missing a few pilots. Here is the scoring (according to Sarin, I'll trust him on this one):

-Along those lines, there is a new wargame coming out! Imperial Storm III ! The official webpage is here: http://www.emperorshammer.net/wo/is3/. The VA wants the ASF to do well in this wargame and so this is a perfect time for the SC as we will be at our most active time of participation and allow us to buy more ships and craft in the wargame.
