CMDR Ramblings...
Well, well, well... It's been an interested week. The squad has picked up a new pilot, welcome TK-8905 to the squad! The Intrepid continues to perform well in Supremecy Competition IV. Let's continue to fly battles (multiplayer or single-player), do IWATS, write fiction, create graphics, etc... In order to maintain that lead and become the flagship of the Aggressor Strike Force! 

X-wing Vs. Tie Fighter Week Of War! It lasts until next Friday, I'll be out there on a MSN Zone a bit this week-end but more during the week probably. EH_Doros is my zone nick, important reminder. If you're going to be flying for the Emperor's Hammer you must have a EH_name nick and sign up at www.battlestats.com and join the Emperor's Hammer club. If you run into any problems just email me personally and I'll try to assist.

Nice work by everyone involved. I hope that we have more pilots in the squad we can
see continued weekly increases in our point totals. I'd like to see everyone getting
some points during the week, if you only have a little bit of time during the week just
showing up at a MP comp and flying 1 match gets you 5 points for participation. 40
points if you win(including the medal and participation pts). Completing an Iwats course
www.imperialacademy.org/ is 15 points per course and some courses are extremely
easy if you follow the course notes. Let's see the Intrepid become the flagship!

New Cobra Squadron Nicknames Competition
Ends-April 30th,2002.
Submit a new Squadron Nickname, and a nickname for Flight-1, flight-2, and flight-3. Entries can be serious or comical but can not contain foul language. Winner receives an IS-BR.

Cobra Squadron Motto Competition
Ends-April 30th,2002.
Submit a new Squadron Motto, and a Motto for each Flight(Flight-1, Flight-2, & Flight-3). Entries
can be serious or comical but can not contain foul language. Winner receives an Iron Star-Bronze Ribbon.

EH/Tie Corps News...
Wing XVIII Wing Commander Major Talek Dei has stepped down and been replaced by LC Fenn Logan.
Wing IX has a new Wing Commander in Major Mosh, congrats!
Sadly the Tie Corps Battlegroup has seen one of it's finest officers retire in Admiral Mell, the position of Battlegroup Commander is a very taxing one and he served his position and Battlegroup well. <SALUTE>
Vice Admiral Drake is appointed to replace Admiral Bell as TC Battlegroups Commander. Good luck and congrats to him!
Carl Lost has reclaimed his Tie Corps 'Baron' title back from Brucmack after Bruc had it a short time. The 'Baron' title is awarded to the person in the Tie Corps with most High Scores in battles & missions.
Praetorian Commander Loor has been promoted to CPT. Nice work.
Major Roguewing has started a project Segway with goals to turn XWA into a more imperial-friendly product. His goals are quite ambitious, if you have mission design, or graphic editing capabilities you may want to take a look. http://www30.brinkster.com/roguewing/. 
CM Tempest has released a new version of tailoring program. This program easily creates a custom uniform based on your rank and medals. http://www.ehnet.org/~ttt/
The Tie Corps database has been updated. Changes have been made to rank images, medal images, a new Avenger Squadron Ship, and adding Jedi Knight II to the games platform list.

Wing/Ship News...
Transfers within the ASF is disallowed during the current SC4 competition. To prevent other squadrons from trying to unfairly increase scoring a pilot may not transfer from one squad to another within the ASF(ISD Intrepid, ISD Grey Wolf, & ISD Vanguard). Avenger Squadron as well.

Multiplayer Requirements for the ASF are introduced by BGCOM Cyric. They are as follows:

WC - At least 3 matches per month.
CMDR - At least 4matches per month.
FL - At least 5 matches per month.

Ok, now this may cause some problems. If you have any technical issues which won't allow you to play a multiplayer game of X-wing vs. Tie Fighter or X-Wing Alliance, (broken joystick, expensive minute by minute internet connection, 14.4k modem giving you horrible lag, really slow internet connection) report them to me. Otherwise it looks like this is going to be enforced. These requirements are not wins, they are only matches. If you aren't too good and lose 5 matches in a month you've met your requirement as a FL. Again, it's critical if you realize you have a problem preventing you from meeting this I find out immediately.
