Greetings,

1. Falcon News

  • In last WC's own competition we ended 3rd. I still think we did a very good job, considering that Phantom Squadron (which won the WC's own, congrats to them) only beat us with an 833 points edge. We had a total of 9009 points, so I am very pleased with your participation.
  • There is a new WC's own competition - this one being for May. The goal is to have as many meaningful posts as possible on our Squadron message board. In case some of you forgot the URL to our MB, this is it: http://www.emperorshammer.net/mb/view.asp?b=31&v=1&s=0. Go post something! Remember, meaningless posts will not be counted.
  • There is an Immortal Run-on going on at the Immortal MB. Go and write your lines at http://www.emperorshammer.net/mb/view.asp?b=25&l=1&g=1&v=1&t=9899&s=0!
  • CPT Michael Gutt asked for a transfer to the prestigeous Avenger Squadron. The transfer isn't finalized yet, but I'm sure he'll be greatly missed aboard the Immortal!
  • CPT Mikkel Filla is working to update the Falcon site. Expect more news in the coming week!
  • I sent mails to other CMDRs to ask for a Squadron vs Squadron competition, but there's no news on that yet. I'll keep you all informed.

2. Fleet News

  • In Imperial Storm 3 there will be a new engagement between the BGs (that's us) and the Sovereign. Be there tonight at 17h30 EST in #project_faithful on IRC!
  • Episode II - Attack of the Clones features in all theaters worldwide next Thursday (May 16th)! Be there and go watch it!

3. Current competitions list

  • There's still the WC's challenge! Anyone breaking 5 high scores gets an ISM. Breaking 15 high scores will earn you a PC!
  • Mission creation contest : The goal is to design a single free mission, in order to advertise the Emperor's Hammer. This mission should be designed for non-EHers, and should introduce the EH, the TIE Corps, subgroups etc. The winning submissions would be spred through the mission creation community in order to advertise the Emperor's Hammer. The plotline of the missions is up to you, as long as it introduces the EH.. remember the missions will be flown by non-EHers. There is three categories, TIE, XvT/BoP, XWA, top3 submissions for each will be rewarded (up to IS-GR), deadline is May 15th. All submissions should follow the EH standards of the Tactical Manual, avoid the use of patches due to the advertising nature of the missions.   • We have a new fleet wide competition! The cutest EH baby competition! :This competition parallels the Mr/Miss EH Comp. In this comp, we want to find out who is is cutest EH baby. I'll try to break this comp down by the three month timespan. :)

    Month 1: Photos submitted for three weeks Last week, they will be posted on the RO page for view, and in preparation for the voting to begin. Submissions being taken until May 30, 2002
    Month 2: Rounds of voting will begin. Most likely one round per week, or perhaps every two weeks, depending on how many votes we get, as well as the amount of pictures
    Month 3: Voting comtinues until there are a Cutest EH Boy and Girl. Which will be announced later that month.

    Rules
    You must submit a picture of yourself as a child, from 0 - 6 years old. Please try to select a clear picture so it is easy to view. Try to keep your submissions to just one, only one will be accepted. Also, please send them in .jpg or .gif. And include your full ID line. Thank you! :) The voting will be done by the members of the Emperor's Hammer
