PHANTOM SQUADRON REPORT #63 5/5/02

SQUADRON NEWS

-From now on you are not allowed to skip a mission in a battle whatever the reason is. All missions of a battle must be completed. You are not to use the ingame 'skipping mission' option of X-Wing Alliance. If you encounter a battle that has a fatal bug in it that prevents you from playing the rest of the battle, you cannot edit your pilot file to skip the mission. If you encounter a fatal bug, fill out a Bug Report on the Battle Center to explain why you could not finish a mission, and save a backup of your pilot file so you can finish the battle after it has been repaired. Skipping missions may lead to have the batle removed from your combat profile.
-CPT Mark has stepped down as FL to make room for others to try and become CPTs. I'm open to applications from everyone everywhere.
-WC Own results: Here they are. Urza didn't flew; Spear is on leave; Turbo might be considered excused, depending on Arso's decision. There was no banner.

TIP: XWA-CAB 1 is the biggest XWA battle around, with 9 missions! You can greatly increase your score there no matter how bad you fly :)

SQUADRON STATUS

-WC Challenge: Everyone has 2 weeks to break as many high scores as possible. So far many of you have done quite well. ISM for 5 scores, and a PC for 15 that are broken. The deadline to break all the scores is next Tuesday.
-Bloody May is on! Fly as much as possible this month and you may win an IS-BW. Deimos is in the lead, but he's so tired that he's probably not gonna fly more for the rest of the week, and Mark, Nuno and me are in the pursuit. Ezop and Jari compete for the last place with scores :P
-There is a banner comp running for the ISD Immortal, so try to make better banner than the current one. The deadline is May 7th 2002.The best Submission recieves a Iron Star - Silver Ribbon, and the 2nd Best Submission recieves an Iron Star - Bronze Ribbon. Send all submissions to Darksaber@ehnet.org
-Hey! Wanna help the squadron? Fly XWA-DB 1. Many of us have already flown this one, and I feel that we can get this citation. Those who have not flown this battle, are recommended to fly it when possible.
