1. Falcon news
a) Falcon news
- CPT Mikkel Filla is working on a way to keep the Falcon site much more updated in means of news and competitions. More news will undoubtedly follow. In the meantime, if you don't know the login and password to access the battle tactics, mail me and I'll give you the information.
- COL Dras Hempor has reported that he has troubles with his joystick. This means of course that he can’t fly and he even thinks of joining the Reserves if the problems persist.
- LCM Atican has told me that he has mail problems.
- The few people who reacted to my poll about whether to hold a comp against an Immortal Squadron or a Squadron from another ship have told me that they’d like to hold a comp against another Ships Squadron. I’ll get to work on that.
- COL Adrenaline has been awarded an ISM for her work during the month April.
b) WC’s own results
First of all, I’m very pleased with the participation for the WC’s own competition. Some submissions were a bit late, but overall I think we’ll stand a good chance to win this one. 6 out of 10 people in Falcon submitted a PLT file. COL Adrenaline made us a fine banner. These are the scores:

2. TC news
a) General news
- A new XWA-TC battle has been released (XWA-TC #29), corrected by Gord Darkonian. This battle caused me an insane amount of trouble, but... go fly it!
- From now on you are not allowed to skip a mission in a battle whatever the reason is. All missions of a battle must be completed. You are not to use the ingame 'skipping mission' option of X-Wing Alliance. If you encounter a battle that has a fatal bug in it that prevents you from playing the rest of the battle, you cannot edit your pilot file to skip the mission. If you encounter a fatal bug, fill out a Bug Report on the Battle Center to explain why you could not finish a mission, and save a backup of your pilot file so you can finish the battle after it has been repaired. Skipping missions may lead to have the batle removed from your combat profile.

b) Imperial Storm 3 news
- Our battle against the ATF which should have taken place last Monday hasn't happened. Drake told me that the ATF withdrew and allowed us to take the planet.
- The fight against the Sov which should have taken place last Wednesday had been postponed to Saturday.
- Saturday we were apparently (the scores aren’t completely counted yet) destroyed by the Sov.
3. Current competition list
1. WC’s challenge
Anyone who flies five high scores in one week will get an ISM. Anyone flying 15 high scores in one week receives a PC.
2. Immortal banner competition
Deadline: May 7th
IS-SR for Best Submission.
IS-BR for 2nd Submission.
Create a banner for the ISDII Immortal
3. Mission creation contest : Hammers Pride competition
The goal is to design a single free mission, in order to advertise the Emperor's Hammer. This mission should be designed for non-EHers, and should introduce the EH, the TIE Corps, subgroups etc. The winning submissions would be spred through the mission creation community in order to advertise the Emperor's Hammer. The plotline of the missions is up to you, as long as it introduces the EH.. remember the missions will be flown by non-EHers. There is three categories, TIE, XvT/BoP, XWA, top3 submissions for each will be rewarded (up to IS-GR), deadline is May 15th. All submissions should follow the EH standards of the Tactical Manual, avoid the use of patches due to the advertising nature of the missions. CM Nicolaas Vlieghe : Flew XWA-DB #2 and BoP-TC #2 & 3.
COL Adrenaline : Flew XWA-FREE #26,27,29,30,32,33,34,35,63 (with 30 being a high score) and XWA-TC #16. She completed the IWATS CBX course and created a banner for the WC’s own competition.
MAJ Nix : Flew XWA-FREE #63.
COL Dras Hempor : Problems with joystick, no flying at the moment.
CPT Gord Darkonian : Corrected XWA-TC #29 and flew XWA-FREE #63.
COL Kessian Armus : Working on IS3 staff as alternate TFA.
CPT Michael Gutt : Competed in two MP events (3 LoCs) and flew XWA-FREE #63.
LCM Kurt Williams : No contact yet. Check in with me ASAP!
CPT Mikkel Filla : Flew XWA-FREE #63 and is working on the Falcon website.
