CMDR Rambling...
Well, well, well... We've had a very interesting week in the squadron. Intrepid Platform Contest ended and I believe we placed 3rd (need to check with Dengar), although there were no official rewards for 'top squadrons'. I'm encouraged by our showing but would like us to improve so when we do have a squad competition we're at the top.
The BIG news is that we have a new member... And i'm not talking some green cadet, we have a distinguished veteran who has joined Cobra Squadron and his name is Captain Dagger. Dagger comes to us after a nice long and relaxing stay aboard the luxury frigate Phoenix and before then having served abord the Sovereign. Captain Dagger has also previously been Commander of Tav Squadron. Let's give him a nice warm reception.
The other item of note is that I've finished the first phase on the new Cobra Squadron website. I'm no graphical stud, infact other then being able to draw a Super Mario character free-hand i'm fairly inept graphically but i'm not too bad of a programmer so I hope to throw some neat stuff up there in the future. http://www22.brinkster.com/sweeneyc/cobra/cobramain.htm

Several months ago the Internet Office announced plans for the first ever Internet Office Competition, entitled Project Hawkeye. Not much info was released, and with
good reason. Today, we finally present to you the public site for Project Hawkeye. Linked to it is the URL for the Qualification Test for entering the second phase of thecompetition. What is the second (and main) stage? It's a series of missions designed to be completed on the Internet, run by the Hawkeye Admin Team. We well
accept 20-25 people from those that take the Qualification Test to participate. If you're not accepted, you'll be prepared for the next episode of this competition, coming this summer, Project Hawkeye II! Don't forget to read the FAQs on the Hawkeye site!
