The squad was back to normal, in the pilot's lounge downing some cold lum. Prophet and Victor were playing a little arm-wrestling, the Major was winning but just barely. Alec was sitting at the bar chatting up the night-time barmaid, a nurse named Jess. Ekim looked around and admired his squadron, they were a family, he would trust any of these men with his life, his belonging. Some other members of the old scorpion family sat with the guys, sitting to his right was CPT Blair Vallyn and CM Johann Glorick, originals of the rise to the top.
JDF1984 was playing darts in the back corner with Strahd, it would seem Strahd was kicking butt, just like in the simulator recently. And sitting at the table with Ekim was his flight, EX-Avenger flight. Erik Tarkin and Zippy Hawk sat with Ekim, his command crew as they thought. Aces, veterans, but more then that Scorpions... all of them. CPT Azrael was on personal leave, and Victor had just returned from leave. Damon Kast had dissapeared, his comm address (email is not going through) had been giving Ekim problems lately. If it kept up, he'd have to remove Damon from the roster.
His family sat here... all of them. Ekim picked up his lum and sat quietly. Returning to his quarters and into Scorpion's CMDR's office. On one wall was the hall of fame. COL Neo-Horn Berkana, CPT Ahkliat, Blair and Glorick, and one or two others. He looked up and saw the plaques from the various awards. His office was full of them, he used to have them in the squadron lounge, but the men hated seeing relics from the past. So Ekim moved them here, they gave him inspiration, a will to keep commanding these men.

Activity Reports:
Okay this is where the new policies come in. Following an example from LC Tarkin and the former Avenger squadron, you must all write me once a week with your own report of activities for what you did that week. So I have one from Tarkin... but I think i deleted it... I do know that it said he flew 9 ladder matches and has won 7 LoCs this last week... way to go Tarkin. The pilot of the week is Tarkin and last week was Hawk. Congrats you two. So new policy is once a week you must write me with what you did... i'd like to know if you flew any MP/ladder matches as those aren't reported to me.

Fleet and ASF News
1. The FO has held his position for 1 year. Fleet Admiral Patel is an Avenger Alumni, so be sure to congratulate him on his fine work.
2. Congratulations to Vyacheslav Tiberius Slegr and Gryffon who have been appointed to Chancellor of the Senate (CHS)and Chief Game Master (CGM) of the Fringe, respectively. .
3. Something of note came from the FO that does effect this battle group concerning the ATF and the DB. The ATF can now recruit FM's and FL's who are NOT in the DB. Positions of Squadron CMDR and Higher require a rank of ACC or higher and must be in the DB. This could effect our recruitment for FM's and the like, so be vigilant and make sure the ASF comes out on top.
4. The ASF Propaganda Office has been reopened!! Rekio, Ekim, Ender and a few other distinguished officers have all taken a portion and are working on new ideas. The main driving force for this office to to increase recruitment, so if you are interested in helping the ASF and earning some MoI's then drop them a line :)
5. ASF Round Robin Comp - VA Khadgar has agreed to run the ASF Round Robin Squadron tournament. Squadrons will compete against one another, the winner advancing to meet other squadrons, the loser going home.
6. Admiral Cyric is currently speaking with the FO on the topic of medals and promotion. Admiral Cyric would like to implement a scoring system that would solidify the promotion and medal awarding systems.
Wing XV News
Well let's see, CPT Blair resigned as Python CMDR and CM Gilad resigned as Echo CMDR so there are two open. Other then that COL Hizad's Wing Comp is still on so get flying.

NONE. Still looking for a 12th scorpion, suggestions I know Tarkin and Hawkie were looking into a good friend of there's so I hope you guys talked to him. Though Ultima and Victor have expressed an interest to become CMDR's. Good luck to you both on finding the squadron you want. :D
