ALETH SQUADRON REPORT #2. 02/10/02.

Shuttle, carrying CM Arcanian Stirner, landed on one of the smaller hangar. He came out switching off his datapad.

“Good day, sir” – he heard from saluting orderly officer.

“Good day.” – Arcanian grinned recognizing officer, who had welcomed him on Sovereign when he came back from Praetorian Squadron.

Stirner was already late when he landed but he had compilation he waited for about Andevia events.

At first welcome new pilot: LT Ian Khorst came back from reserves.

Today we come back to full duty. I would like to see from now more activity.

No more loafing.

Here are some ways of being active.

We start “Aleth Elite” competition.

Rules are simple.

Once a month I will announce new edition. You will fly XWA battles and the winner will gain title: ‘Aleth Ace’ before ID line.

Moreover, winner twice in a row will get IS-BW.

Additionally we have "Prelude to Andevia" running.

Story:

The Emperor's Hammer routinely sends out scout and expeditionary forces to
new worlds beyond its own borders. The reasons for these forces vary.
Sometimes they are to evaluate a world for its mineral wealth, other times
for its strategic importance.
Expeditionary Force Alpha-Nine-Four (EF-A94) is one of these forces, based
upon the planet of Andevia. Andevia is a relatively primative planet, with
rolling hills and vast plains untouched by industrialisation or technology.
The native sentient population are a nomadic species, tribal in
organisation. It is said their Shamans possess great powers...
EF-A94 has always sent its reports on time. Until recently that is. A few
weeks ago, a Rebel fleet exited hyperspace near Andevia's system and started
taking an interest in Andevia itself. At the same time, the commander of
EF-A94 reported doubt about the loyalty and motivies of the other team
members.
The EF-A94 team contained talented and skilled members from all branches of
the Emperor's Hammer, so their disappearance comes as a shock. It is also
worrying. The Emperor's Hammer will be assemblying a strike force to go to
Andevia. This force will find out exactly what happened to EF-A94.
But first, we must prepare. We must train. We must find the best of the best
to lead the strike force.

Fiction Events

Story
Overview Write a story based upon the plot thus far, detailing the actual
mission at Andevia. This may include the trip to the planet, intial arrival,
space confrontation, landings, land confrontation or any other related
scenario you can come up with.
Length/Format
At least five (5) pages of of single-line text in 10-point Times New Roman
or similar font. Submissions can be in Rich Text Format (RTF), Word 6.0,
Word 95 or Word 97 format. No text or Word 2000 submissions.
Submitting
Submissions are to be mailed to the Training Officer at
jpboyce@indigo.net.au The submission must have the email subject Prelude to
Andevia Competition - Story submission. In addition, your submission must be
zipped if possible. Zipping your submission means I don't get pissed off
from downloading bloated Word documents. Also include your full ID line.
Submissions without the correct subject or your ID line will be deleted.

These are fragments of whole compilation made by CM Esail Reev (IW) on my request.

Of course there is a lot of more in Prelude to Andevia to do.

There are named characters and you can do background for them.

You can fly MP matches and design mission. There is possibility to create graphics and humoristic things.

There will be no “Aleth Waver” this week.

The reason is: no activity.

I’m a little disappointed your attitude of  ‘no-action’.

Yes, I know that I said that in passing week I we will set all things.

That’s why I’m looking forward for change. There is a lot of things around in EH.

And at the end I decided to change colors of Report. Earlier I try to made it in Aleth’s colors (black and dark red) but I got some complains.
