 Yet another week has gone before us, and we have a new addition to our group. LT Narnil has joined our ranks, and fills the position of Python 2-3 at the moment. I hope you all will welcome him to the group, he has already shown himself to be an educated pilots, in spite of his controller problems. Welcome again to the squadron LT, you are among a special group here.

 Our ranks now sit at 7 members in all, but that could be much better, be sure to continue any recruiting efforts that you have made, do not mention our squadron just offer help to Cadets, and DO NOT try to recruit from existing TC members. Limit yourself to Daedalus and RL friends. Our goal is a full squadron, lets see if we can't make it happen.

 Activity has been pretty good this week, those of you that needed to contact me did so, and I thank you for it. In hopes of inspiring higher activity, I will be instating this system. Starting this week, the pilot that has the highest activity by my standards will receive 5 medal points, 3 for second place, and 1 for third. When a pilot reaches 15 points, he/she (I don't know if we have any female pilots, but to be politically correct) will be recommended for an ISM. Read on to the end of the report to find out who the winner was this week!

Prelude to Andevia extended by one week

Prelude to Andevia's closing date has been extended by one week, to 14th March 2002. The competition really needs entries in the fiction, design and other category sections. Most of the fiction events have been updated so you can now work in teams on them if you so wish. Also, some rules have been updated, so be sure to check the competition's site for details on this. Tip on fiction stuff - one of your main goals with your fiction is to give some sort of explanation for what's happened on Andevia. So, for example, when doing an alien species entry, it'd be a good idea to include some sort of characteristic that would result in the events so far.

New Tactical Staff Database

Thanks to the hard work of Rear Admiral Grail SoulChaser, the Tactical Staff has now a fully functional database, with beta battles and beta testers, at http://www.isdchallenge.org/tacDB. You can access there the listing of battles in the hands of the Tactical Staff, with their current status, beta reports etc. Right now, most of the staff need to be added, and battles status are not yet accurate. Please give us some time so we can be able to use fully this wonderful new tool.

In order to prepare for the TIE Corps database to move servers, the system will need a few final upgrades before it's able to go anywhere. Sometime this evening, the TC database and homepage will be completely shut down temporarily for these upgrades.
