| Tempest Squadron Orders |
Mmm'kay down to business...- Fly TC-92, the Tempest Squadron Battle of the week if you haven't already done so
- Vote for your favorite Challenge Mascot! Just check out the choices and send your vote to Mai and Locke
- IWATS... even tho it's not a verb, IWATS is still important, so take a course or two
- Recruit some more members for the squad and wing. We're going to need some SLs to use as cushioning while Locke learns how to steer the Challenge

Fleet News A couple fleet-wide competitions are going on RIGHT NOW. The first is a competition to design an EH pin that can be sported by EHers at a few upcomming conventions. The winner takes home an IS-GR, but you'd better hurry since the competition closes on March 6th (this Wednesday). The second competition is for a banner to represent the newly established Conventions Commission. The banner competition ends on March 22nd. Both competitions are being run by FA Keiran Idanian and if you're submitting an entry be sure to distinguish which competition you're submitting to in the subject line of the e-mail.The Tactical Office has a new beta testing database on the ISD Challenge domain! Striker must have some friends in pretty high places to be able to pull that off. ;-DAs always, check out all the news and details on the TIE Corps Domain.
Wing News The war game, only 1 move old, is already favoring that dynamic duo, Typhoon and Tempest, as one of the opposing grand admiral's heads has exploded. "Eeeewww," reported his ally, Master who then, for unknown reasons, demanded that his enemies give up without a fight. It is presumed that he suffers from delusions of being able to explode people's heads at will. This tragic event appears to have been caused by Beef's attempt to find out just how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. *cough421cough*In other news, Boliv was caught stuffing the ballot box this week. When examined, these ballots appeared to have "Boliv" hastilly written in crayon under the ever-popular Wombat on the Challenge Pick-a-Mascot ballot. He was linked to the ballot due to a positive color match between the crayon used on the ballots and wax shavings found in his teeth.Finally, us Challenge commanders are being encouraged to use our almost limitless power on the ISD Challenge Domain to make enteries on the news page and post these sexy squad reports that we all put out on a weekly basis without fail on pain of death and other not-so-pleasant eventualities. Sobriety has even been threatened and one has to wonder 'where does it end?'
Squadron News A lopsided week here in Tempest, we had a bunch of activity from the younger end of the membership and not so much activity from the older end. This will change next week, however when we take on Omicron Squadron in stop #1 of the Tempest Tour aboot the TIE Corps.Earlier this week we said 'welcome' to Kane Hooper, who joined us from the Daedalus. Now we get to congratulate him on his first promotion! Congrats Kane! It's the proud tradition on the Challenge for the CMDR of the promoted to come up with some funny story about the actual promotion (or to make fun of themselves for not being good at such things) so we'll see which one I'm going to do this time. ;-D |

The Promotion of LT Kane Hooper - An Adlib
The other day, SL Kane was <verb> ing around the docking bay. Suddenly <Ranking Officer> appeared behind him, <verb> ing him by surprise. Kane was told that he would be on <noun> detail for having missed <wild-card> training that morning. Though he tried to explain he had a(n) <noun> that morning, there seemed to be no way of evading fate this time. With <adjective> <noun> , Kane <verb> ed into his <vehicle> , <verb> ing directly onto something quite <adjective> and <another adjective> . " <interjection> ", he said "It's an LT badge I wonder..." He looked up and noticed the discarded <piece of a costume> , <another piece of a costume> , and a(n) <article of clothing> laying in a pile on the floor and Kaneda <verb> ing away, in a <adjective> attempt not to be seen.
