Todays topic: ASF SCIII
Crusaders
ASF SCIII will start 1.09.2001, so we have one week to....say goodbay to our friends, girlfriends, school mates, and to buy tons of red bull drinks.
Why... because we must prove that we are the best squadron in ASF. Our activity must be over any limits. Now we are stronger than anytime before, even with 11 pilots.
Mike said - "Our Time has come" . Thats why we must make some rules. Last time our rule was - every pilots should gain at least 1 point, that was ok, but we lost, so Mike made new rule - every one must have at least the same points as Mike.Why ?.... because Mike already flown almost all battles so he can gain points only by MP flying, or mission creation, or recruting.
Let this rule will be our primary rule.
Of course if anyone will not beat Mike's score, and i'll see that he do his best, don't worry , i'll not kick this pilots from squad.
When we'll win , we'll receive good medals for our job, and immortal glory as the best squadron in ASF.

Daedalus Motto Competition
Daedalus, a figure of Greek mythology with the honour of being the first man to fly (while watching his dumb son crash back to earth). Daedalus also happens to be the name of a platform used by the TIE Corps to filter out the trash and allow only the best of the best of the best of the students who do okay into the TIE Corps. Soon, we'll be having a Daedalus banner design competition. However, that banner will feature a motto and since we don't have a motto yet, we need to come up with one. That is what this competition is about.
Q. So what do we do?
A. Come up with a motto for Daedalus. It has to be original, suitable for the purpose and aim of Daedalus (ie educating, training, providing pilots for the TIE Corps
Shameless Promotion Competition
Soon, the Training Office will begin a regular mailing to Daedalus cadets, informing them about the TC, events within it, tips for training and profiles on TIE Corps ships, wings and squadrons. The best three of each of these areas will be selected for the first 3 issues of the mailing.
Q. So, what do we do?
A. Write a short explanation as to why your ship, wing or squadron should be selected. Criteria used will include quality of writing, supporting evidence and if your submission is funny (or not).
Q. How do we submit it?
A. Send your submission to shameless@imperialacademy.org. Your submission should have the subject line of "Shameless Promotion Competition - Division - Name", where Division is either Ship, Wing or Squadron and Name is the name of your ship/wing/squadron (ie. an Alpha squadron entry would have "Shameless Promotion Competition - Squadron - Alpha" . The body of the submission must start with "I think my ship/wing/squadron is the best because...", then your explanation. Lastly, include your ID Line. Submissions without your ID Line, without a correct subject line or body will be deleted.
Q. What do I get if my masterpiece wins?
A. First placer in each division (ship, wing, squadron) gets an Iron Star-Platinum Ribbon. Second placer gets a Gold Ribbon, while third gets a Silver. The first placing entries will be used in the first mailing, second placer in the second mailing and third in the third mailing.
Q. How long do I have to do this by?
A. Entries close on 27th August 2001 (that's a Monday). The winners will be selected during the week and notified. Results will be posted on the TO site, TC news and in the next TO report.

IMPERIAL NAVAL FLEET WAR NIGHT
The Emperor's Hammer has been invited to participate in a war this weekend! All are welcome to come to the Imperial Naval Fleet War Night, simply join the channel #Warnight on Undernet, and you're there! XWA, XVT, and JK will be accommodated, so there's a game for almost everyone. It starts at 8 pm EST, and goes until midnight, so everyone come and give the EH a good showing!

Crusaders!
This week will be a short one. The updated citations list is temporarily
unavailable, but this does not mean you get a week off! Come 1st Sept I
expect activity to go through the roof and I will do my best to keep track
of all the missions/battles you guys will fly. I will be issuing many
battles for us all to fly in my next report, so please keep note of these. I
know we will all be at different rates of activity, so I think its easier to
have you guys let me know when you have completed the battles and I can
issue another lot rather than me every week issuing several battles which
you guys may never get round to flying. I am hoping this will make it easier
to know who has flown what. In the meantime please try and fly TIE battles
from #50 onwards.
