CMDR/MAJ Krax Tarnisar reporting in for Spear Squadron on September 16, 2001

It's been a very busy week-plus for me, and I apologize for the lateness of this report. I'll try to make up for it by keeping this short and sweet. I also do this in light of the events of this week.

Wing News
Our very own WC has been promoted to Commode! Let's all kick in a fresh roll of toilet paper for the new RA! Actually, it's a well-deserved promotion. We also have a new Wing Commander in the person of Dan Malaktos. Promotions a-plenty here in Wing IX.

Squadron News
Priority Alpha-One: The Battlegroup Flagship competition has begun. Phase I is fiction, with a story of 500+ words dealing with the events of the last Imperial Storm exercise. All you need to tie the story to Imp Storm is use some planet and pilot names from the exercise itself. I expect 100% participation from all of you. And for those of you who don't know, an Alpha-One competition means that if you don't participate, you can be moved to the Reserves. Those of you who haven't been very active lately need to keep that in mind.

Due to a lack of any entries other than LT Owen, the flight banner competition is declared over. Owen is, by default, the winner. Actually, his banner for Viking Flight is very sharp. Good job, Owen!

Lots of personnel changes this time. Pilum Flight has been almost completely rebuilt. Rumors have it we may see some new faces soon. We'll just have to wait and see.
