Echo Squadron Report # 9

Message

Ender calls the Vanguard squadron commanders and wing commander into a ready room. "Well guys, it's been great. But flying a desk has lost its shine, I'd like to fly a bomber again. So I hereby resign as Commodore. I've spoken with Blair, and I'll lead his flight of bombers. I'm also taking a demotion to Captain. Amongst yourselves and the other pilots, I'm sure you'll find a good replacement to me. I'll see you guys around the pilot's lounges and hanger, as a normal pilot now. Good luck." The room broke out in commotion as the former Vanguard Commodore left his ready room with Commander Vallyn at his side.

"Well Ender, I'm glad you decided to stay on the ship. We'd miss you sorely if you left." Vallyn said. Then, as they came into the hanger, a pair of security officers grabbed Ender by his arms and strapped him in shackles. "You are under arrest for crimes against the state. Come with us." They took Ender to an unmarked Imperial Shuttle and it took off. Vallyn, with a steely look on his face, turned around and called a meeting of the entire wing to announce Ender's sudden departure.

Ship News

Ender resigned as Commodore, then was one-time FL of Echo Bomber Flight II, when the XO and FC decided to suspend Ender's record from the roster. We hope that they will calm down and reinstate Captain mBind as our FL2.

VanCOM position open...but unfortunately none of you meet the requirements :( Another time, perhaps.

I have started a competition. It starts tomorrow (9/17) and goes until the 24th. This is a banner competition, so get designing! Comp details available at http://www.imperialacademy.org/compdetails.asp?ID=861 Be careful when using the squad motto and/or nickname...I may have a competition for that afterwards :) And FLs (Glorick), may change their mottos, just let me know.

LCM Da'Ger retired for the time being to the reserves :P We'll miss him. So, I need a Flight Leader for Flight II. I need relatively good activity, and some command skills would be a plus. Higher promotional possibilities, higher requirements.
