Pilot of the Week
LCM Derf is the Pilot of the Week! His unbelievable activity this week has been outstanding! He even helped us reclaim four of our lost Battle Citations! Congratulations Derf!!
Battle Citations
Thanks to the efforts of LCM Derf, Samekh reclaimed four of its lost Battle Citations this week to bring us to a total of 7! I expect anyone that has not yet flown the battles listed below to do so.

New Pilots
It is the custom in Samekh for all new pilots that hold the rank of SL to be promoted as quickly as possible to LT. In order to do this you simply need to fly any battle on the TC Battle Center and submit your pilot file for approval. Or complete your INPR and then notify your CMDR for verification. Upon completion of either a request will then be submitted for your promotion to LT. So lets get busy and work on those promotions!
Wing V vs. Wing IV Comp
Only a few days remain to fly TC-TIE #174 for the Wing V vs. Wing IV comp. Lets get those pilot files submitted ASAP!
Wing V vs. Wing I CMDR’s Comp
The Wing V CMDR’s gave it they’re all and came back victorious! After a harsh round your Wing V CMDR’s proved to the Wing I CMDR’s who the best pilots are on the Sov! Well fought CMDR’s!!
Activity
For the most part it was pretty quiet this week. I myself had little time to fly as RL issues kept popping up every time I tried to sit down and fly. Not to mention the problems I seem to experiencing with this new joystick I bought recently. The most notable activity came from LCM Derf who is attempting to help the squadron reclaim as many battle citations as he can that we lost when SL’s Worde and Fo joined us!
Recruiting
We are still in need of new pilots gentlemen. Let’s go get those new recruits pilots! ;) We only need three more pilots and we will be a full squadron again! Your CMDR’s personal thanks to the members of Samekh that have taken the time to recruit. From recent reports it appears that we may soon have two new members in our ranks! Well done!

Battle 174, Jaeger! Deadline is July 31. IS-SW to the top scorer in each wing; IS-BW to the runner-up.
Recruiting
LC Proton is now insisting that all members of Wing V get busy and get new recruits into our ranks. We are now down to 42 pilots in Wing V and we must get our numbers back up and improving!

For those who still haven't heard, my internet access died on late Friday night and I only got it back working again on Monday afternoon. To compound things, I picked up something on Saturday and have been sick as a dog. However, I've just finished approving the backlog of competitions submitted and all the IWATS tests I mark were cleared out yesterday. Thanks for the patience shown by all members during this.
