Greetings all, and welcome to another Hey Squadron
Report.


Osan'gar looked around his office as he started to
pack up his things to get ready for his holiday. As he
put a few Hawaiann shirts into his suitcase, CM Josh
Popelka put his head round the door and was
immediately blinding by the huge variety of bright
colours on the cloths Osan'gar was packing.
Josh walked into the room a few moments later,
squinting as his eyes adjusted to the colours.
Osan'gar grinned and threw the last few things into
the case. Opening a drawer underneath his desk,
Osan'gar pulled out a wierd hat thing. "I'm sure this
will come in handy while I'm gone, if Ferret comes to
have a "chat", then stick this hat over his head,
making sure that the metal wire is positioned in front
of his nose. Then stick a piece of food on the end of
the wire, and the stupid Bantha will wonder all over
the Sovereign trying to follow the food. If Seq sees
Ferret with this on, grab some innocent SL or LT and
blame it on them, and then make a swift exit."
Josh grinned and took the hat. "One final thing",
started Osan'gar, "try not to destroy my office while
I'm gone, or I'm sure that I can find several very
dirty corridors that need cleaning with a toothbrush."
Osan'gar grabbed his case, and then walked off to the
shuttle bay. Climbing into a waiting shuttle, Osan'gar
sat back as the Shuttle flew away from the Sovereign
to his holiday destination.


SQUADRON NEWS
-------------------------

- I will be going on leave on Thursday for two weeks.
CM Josh Popelka will be the Acting Commander during
that time.

- LCM Tvan'Oris has designed a new Squadron banner,
which is attached to this report in zip format. I will
also be sending it to the Flight Officer, or who ever
adds banners to the TIE Corps domain so that it
becomes our official banner.

- LCM Tvan'Oris also achieved the FCHG rank of KNGT
after flying loads of free missions and battles.

- We now have 10 citations, great work everyone.

- When I return from leave, I have a number of events
and competitions that we could possibly take part in.
Firstly, I am currently writing the rules for a
strategy game called "The Manetheren Campaign". This
will be an inter-squadron game, and it will involve a
variety of skills being used to try to conquer as much
of a planet as possible.
I am also going to be looking for another XWA squadron
to have a competition against, because with the
current strength of Hey, I think we stand a good
chance of winning.

- Lets try to get a few more pilots so that Vav
Squadron will be opened soon.


WING NEWS
--------------------------

- I updated the pilot archive on Saturday with new
fiction from LT Craydon Bash, and some old fiction
from CPT Cal Sinis and CM Josh Popelka. All the 3D
images from LCM Tvan'Oris will be added in the next
few days.

- Congrats to COL Van who is the new Daleth CMDR,
welcome to the Wing III Command Staff :)

- Applications are being taken for Beth CMDR, you must
be FM/LCM or FL/LT or higher and have passed SM/2, so
if you satisfy these requirements, feel free to apply.

- The Summer Bash has started, compete in all of your
events and lets try to win this competition.


FLEET NEWS
--------------------------

Not much news this week, so I'm forced to put useless
information about the COO's e-mail address and a
LucasArts poll into this report. I'm sure that
thousands of people will be shocked by this ground
breaking news about an e-mail change. :P

For those who still haven't heard, my internet access
died on late Friday night and I only got it back
working again on Monday afternoon. To compound things,
I picked up something on Saturday and have been sick
as a dog. However, I've just finished approving the
backlog of competitions submitted and all the IWATS
tests I mark were cleared out yesterday. Thanks for
the patience shown by all members during this.
