Squadron News
1. LCM BlackHero, SL Rahn, and LT Mantis have all joined the Mighty Vortex Squadron!!!

2. This week pilots from the Grey Wolf have been removed or transferred off ship. I would like to re-state my policy on insubordination:

I have witnessed insubordination in this Wing over the last few weeks. I will not tolerate this. If you are insubordinate to a superior officer I will request your transfer immediately. If I had the power, I would execute you on the deck of the Grey Wolf. Mass mail messages and webboards are not locations to have debates with superior officers. Vortex pilots will not make a mockery of the Imperial Tie Corps and will not be insubordinate on any level. This includes criticizing orders and actions of all officers which command you. If you have a problem with a superior officer you are directed to use the chain of command. NEVER discuss or criticize a superior officer in public. You may see other squadrons do this and you may view other CMDR's do this, but as a Vortex Pilot you will never disrespect my fellow CMs, WC Azazel, or VA Khadgar. If you do, I will have you removed immediately. Never forget your Military Bearing.

3. Congrats to LCM BlackHero and LT Mantis on their promotions.

4. MSE have not been finalized as of yet. They will be soon and many of us will be receiving nice rewards for our hard work in last months ASFSCIII.
Wing and Ship News
1. Congrats to RA Brucmack who has been named the new COO. Cheers to the greatest pilot in the Tie Corps!

2. A squadron competition is in the works between Tartarus, Vortex, and Phoenix at the moment. This competition could very easily involve the other squadrons on board of the Grey Wolf as well. Details to come soon!

Fleet and ASF News
1. BGCOM AD Cyric is on leave and will be returning soon. Once this happens MSEs should go through. 2. The New ASF Page can be located at http://www.halstar.f2s.com/asf/ take a look at it!

Current Squadron Orders
The Squadron Orders process is now going to take on a more formal approach. I am going to expect each and everyone of you to complete these orders. If you do not complete your orders for three consecutive weeks, I will remove you from the squad. Vortex Squadron now has the right combination of New Pilots and Veteran Pilots to become the best squadron on this ship. That is the only goal that we have.

All Pilots are to complete FCHGXVT1, XVTIW26, Compete in at least one competition and fly 3 Ladder Matches this week. This is the minimum activity possible!

Flight Leaders Corner
Flight Leaders: From this point on each week you will submit me a status report that will be placed into this section of the Weekly Report. Your report should consist of Current Flight Recruitment activities and any other activity that you are organizing within your flight. I am thinking of a Inter-Squadron competition that will place Flight against Flight! I want your ideas on this immediately. These are your duties for the upcoming week.

1. Recruitment. We are in need of 3 more pilots for the squadron. I would like to recruit two new pilots from Daedalus and one new Pilot from the Reserves. It is crucial that we gain another veteran pilot to help us with Citations.

2. Complete All XVT Battles very soon. We are an XVT ship! XVT citations are a must.

Commanders Thoughts
My thoughts this week center around making us a better squadron. I asked myself this week "What makes a squadron the best?" I have come up with many answers but they all revolve around activity and pride in the squadron. We have lost 13 citations this week due to the new people coming in. This means that we all need to work together to regain these citations. Citations are earned when half or more than half of a squad has flown the same battle. This is why it is important that we all fly this weeks assigned battle. It is also important that we have all flown the XVT Battles. If we fly every XVT Battle we will have roughly 30 Citations. Once we reach that goal then we can begin worrying about flying the other platforms. IT is crucial that each one of you perform your duties as members of this squad. You need to compete at MP events and you need to fly Single Player missions. If you do not, I will send you to the Frigate Phoenix to serve drinks to the other Reservists. This week has been an excellent week of productivity from four of our squadrons 9 Pilots. If we can raise that activity to six or seven of us then we will be a force to be dealt with.
