Tartarus squadron , this is your commander speaking. I would like everyone's maximum attention! This is going to be a special report due to
some really special events. I'm sure you're all curious to find out what's this all about...so let's go on with it:))
SURPRISE MEETING

One by one, the ships were entering the hangar. Another daily trainning was over and Tartarus' pilots were coming back to the base.
" Well i think that's all for today guys, DarkC said, yet i would like to have your attention for a few more minutes. Just a short briefing
about tomorrow's trainning session.
Oh, by the way,Woobee, i think you're wanted in the main computer room.They seem to have some problems with that new program
and they think you might help them. So, go ahead and see if you can give them a hand, i'll talk to you later about the trainning."
"Ok Chrissy, i'm on my way, see you later." Woobee saluted and left the hangar.
"All right...now we can talk", said Chrissy smiling.
' What's going on commander? It seems to me like you didn't want Woobee to hear what you want to say."
"He he,good guess Jatz,as always.
So let me tell you what's going on,since none of you seems to have any clue...
What's the date today?"
" The 25th of july i think:)"
" You're right again Jatz...so what date will it be tomorrow?"
" 26th of course", said MadDog not understanding what Chrissy was talking about.
" He he,right again...and the day after tomorrow?"
" What the.....are we learning to count here? 27th obviously",said Jatz who started to get nervous.
" No need to, I see you're good with numbers.
Well i see you're all confused now,so i'll get right to the point.
Tomorrow it's Khadgar's birthday and the day after tomorrow it's Woobee's.
As i noticed noone knows anything about this,i thought our squadron should make them a surprise.
So,tomorrow's trainning session will be a special one. I want you all to make sure your ships are heavy loaded with firecrackers
insted of missiles. Make sure you do this without Woobee noticing it!
I won't tell you more right now because i love surprises. You will leave the base for trainning as usual,but make sure you follow my
orders.Understud?"
" YES COMMANDER!"..all said in one voice.

Next evening they all gathered into the hangar.
"OK guys,it's 11 o'clock..time to fly! DarkC said.
I want you all to go out there and inspect all crafts prepared for tis trainning,and then simulate a patrol till i give you further orders.
I still have a few things to take care of around here and then i'll join you too."
All six ships left the hangar each one going for the designated target.

" You have your connection with RA Khadgar as you asked CM"
"Good evening sir and excuse me for disturbing you so late, but there's a very good reason. I'm afraid it's too important to talk it over
the phone,would you please be so kind and come to our base?It's really important sir!"
"OH god! This should better be serious commander....ok i'm on my way."
"Commander,this is Jatz.All ships have been inspected.What next?"
"There's been a little change of plans.Woobee,do you read me?"
"Loud and clear commander!"
"Admiral Khadgar is coming to the base,make sure you escort his shuttle to the hangar.The other ones stay behind and back them
up,i got some strange signals on the radar."
The comodore's shuttle entered the area and Woobee headed towards it to provide escort.
"Some unidentified ships in the area commander!" Jatz yelled
"Hey!Hold your fire.They seem to be some of ours" DarkC said
Admiral sir, i think it would be apropriate for you to make them indentify themselves since you're here."
"This is RA Khadgar ,comodore of ISD Grey Wolf, identify yourself imediately or you'll be fired at once!"
"This is Vortex's CMDR, Arathar,sir!"
"This is Crusader's CMDR Marcin Kaczinski,sir,at your orders!"
"Here is Phoenix's CMDR Wes Janson sir,reporting in!"
"And of course Valkyrie's CMDR Hev couldn't miss this ,with all respect sir!"
"And last but not least here is Odin's CMDR Raxis Krieger, if i'm allowed sir!"
"Would anyone tell me what the hell is going on here?" Khad said
"This is CMDR DarkC speaking sir. Let me have the honour of wishing both you and our dear Woobee ,on behalf of all squadrons
in Wing XIII, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"

The sky was lighted all of a sudden of hundreds of fireworks, as the two celebrated were escorted to the base where the Wing
Commander and all the rest of the pilots were expecting them,for a party they would never forget.
Only DarkC seemed to have a problem.While entering the guest room she wispered to Jatz "God...I'm gonna be demoted for this,but
what the hell....they deserve at least this much!So let's party!!"

But seriously, what can i tell you Brent on this special day? We are living in opposite corners of the world so any presents are out of the
question....all i can do is offer you my endless love and my deepest friendship and of course to wish you "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATE!":))

RECRUITMENT
Well guys,before we start the party and get dizzy from the beer,you MUST read this report:) Unfortunately LCM MadDog announced me that he's
retiring for a few months. The next months will be very busy for him and he decided it would be better if he transfers to reserves rather than being
completly innactive. Well,though i'm sorry he's leaving, i think he's right and i respect his decision. I only hope he'll be back with us soon as he
promissed:)
On the other hand we have a new pilot SL .So we're now 8 pilots in here,but we'll be only 7 as soon as the transfer is accepted. I think i don't have
to say that recruitement is now really top priority. I already emailed a few cadets and i'm doing everything i can to find a few top pilots to join us,
but i will also need your help ok?.Hehe...by the way....it seems like i even got lucky,i just checked my inbox and it seems that one of the guys i
emailed want's to join us as soon as he finishes the IWATS test.:)) So you see,it's not that hard....you can try too:))
NEWS
1.Of course the most important news is that on the 26th and 27th of july RA Khadgar and COL Woobee aded another rose to their life buquet.
We all wish you all the happiness in the world together with the ones you love and with the ones that love you!!
2. LCM MadDog is retiring for a while,but we have a new member SL Song Dynasty .Make sure you welcome him and make him feel at home
here:)
3. Valkyrie's commander CM Hev Randrowan was promoted to CPT. Congratulations Hev!:)

Khadgar’s Tea

Part 1
‘Mayday! Mayday! This is Assault Transport Kappa! We are taking heavy fire! Repeat! We are taking heavy fire!’ The Strormtrooper Captain
lurched violently to one side as the transport shuddered from another hit. Smoke began to fill the cabin. The captain cursed as he attempted to
key his mike again. The approach had thus far been a milk run.
The planet’s inhabitance had shown no resistance thus far. Intel evaluated its tech level to be too low to be a threat. However, once the small
fleet of transports had entered the atmosphere, all Hell had broken loose, as if on cue a switch had been thrown. The
veteran captain had been here before. This was a trap.
‘Kappa to Grey Wolf, requesting support this sector, heavy ground-fire, over….’
‘This is Grey Wolf, standby…’
The captain poked his head into the cockpit. The ground below seemed to spit fire at
them. The transport to Kappa’s starboard side burst into flames as laser racked its hull.
The captain winced as it exploded seconds later. Above the squeal of alarms inside the
cockpit, another sounded briefly. The pilot glanced at his console. ‘X-Wings! Coming up
from those mountains at our 12. ‘
The captain’s mouth went dry. He HAD been here before…too many times. ‘Rebels…’
he rasped. As he keyed his mike to report, a volley of torpedoes punched threw the
cabin, tearing the transport in two.
Meanwhile, onboard the ISD Greywolf, general alarms sounded throughout as the ship assumed a defensive posture. Flight crews scrambled to
ready the ships’ starfighters whilst gun crews closed up in their positions, and began to run systems checks. War rooms throughout the ship
gradually began to fill as personnel checked in to be briefed. At the heart of this organized chaos was the Operations room, where the ship’s
warfare officers were now frantically taking charge of their respective departments and crews. Oblivious to the hubbub around them, sensor
operators hunched over their blinking consoles, passing data to their relevant supervisors.
‘Captain on deck!’ the stormtrooper on duty announced.
Officers and ratings alike snapped to attention, save the console operators whose attentions never wavered from the consoles in front of them.
‘Right! What’s going on? What’s happening here?’ RA Khadgar stood with his hands on his hips, dripping wet, clad only in a tiger-stripped
bathrobe and matching fluffy slippers.
‘Er…sir’ a naval officer approached, ‘The assault groups came under heavy fire…first wave decimated…’ he paused, momentarily distracted by
the pool of bathwater slowly forming at Khadgar’s feet.’…we’re detecting starfighters planetside, and heavy groundfire in these sectors..’ The
naval officer pointed to a large tactical display. ‘I see.’ Khadgar nodded. ‘Have Pacification launch ASAP, and I want Crusader ready on alert
five, incase some of those fighters decide to come up here and give us trouble.’
The officer blinked as soap suds flying off the scrubbing brush Khadgar was waving in his face, hit him in the eye.
‘Send for more Assault groups from HQ, and keep alert for any little “nasties” that may decide to hyper in behind us.’ The RA considered his now
sopping wet bathrobe.
‘I want sitreps passed to my quarters, say, every 5 minutes…keep me posted.’. And with that, Khadgar spun on his heel, and marched off to
resume his bath…
NEXT WEEK, Part 2….
Excitement ‘plus’ next week as Tartarus enters the fray! Also, things get ‘steamy’ onboard the Greywolf as Khadgar takes his bath. Who will
prevail in the battle for this unnamed and inconsequential planet? Stay tuned next week….

Uniform competition
Hehe...i think i'll give up on this one.I'll try to make the uniform myself,as a matter of fact it's quite ready...lol. Oh...and don't be sorry...i was told that
i couldn't award any ISM for that anyway,so you didn't loose anything...hehe
Graphics and fiction competition
Similar one. We really need some material for the webpage so we could outshine our mates from other squadrons. ISM for most creative
people. The same applies to the fiction writters. If it's good enough,ISM is yours. Our home page is improving everyday, but we can make it
better....come on guys,use your imagination!!:))
Come on! I at least tried to do something,even though i'm not sure you liked it...lol...when do i get some things from you?
PSI Tournament [ACCEPTED]
Even though we did our best and from my point of view,if anyone is interested in it...lol,i think we did a great job in those two rounds, unfortunately
we lost this time.But i want to congratulate all pilots that helped the squadron durring the competition...and don't forget guys there is always a
second chance! Just don't forget we have to learn from our mistakes.

SQUADRON ACTIVITY
Well...i think i can say that this week our activity increased a bit,so i think if we keep it going like this we might achieve our goals after all...lol
Tartarus 1-1: CM DarkC (that's me...lol..for those who aren't aware of that) :I completed battles TC-TIE #72,73,74,75,76,77,99,125 & 176 and i
tried really hard to make a pleasant surprise to Brent:))
Tartarus 1-2 : CPT Tomaas Banys: Is on vacation....lucky guy!...lol:))
Tartarus 2-1 : LTJatzCrakker :Great work Jatz:) He completed batlle TC-TIE #19,22,36 & 44 and wrote a great piece of fiction (part 1) .I'm very
pleased with you Jatz:))))
Tartarus 2-2 : LTArcadius Calidus : He's on leave for the next two months.Unfortunatelly he's not enjoying his vacation,he was sick almost all
month...but i'm sure he'll get better very soon:) And guess what?..even though he wasn't feeling good...he couldn't stay away from the ship...lol. He
completed battles TC-XvT # 12,13,14 & 15, IW-XvT 10 & 12 and TC-BoP #5. So even if it's unbelieveble...he's one ACE OF THE WEEK! Great
work Vulc...but please get some rest...you're on vacation...lol
