Well everyone, I am back and ready to go. Im sorry about the scare I may have given all of you, but if I wasnt going to be online, I didnt want an absentee CMDR to be a detriment to the squadron. But, im back, for good I hope.
FLEET NEWS:
- The results for the second Imperial Storm battle have been confirmed. In summary, Silver Saber completely destroyed all Flaming Arrow forces, and lost several dozen fighters in the process (but none of their capital ships).
- Congratulations to Major Absolut Vodka, who has been selected as the new Wing Commander for Wing VIII.
- Many congratulations to Rear Admiral Mell, Commodore of the ISD Colossus, who has been promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral following several months of hard work in supporting his pilots and ship. Go Mell.
- The Communications Office is pleased to announce the launch of their new Office website, located at http://comm.ehnet.org/. The new office contains a vast amount of reference material regarding communication in the EH. This material includes IRC How-to's, EH Meeting logs, a listing of EH IRC channels, and more!
WING NEWS:
- Well its that time of month to announce TCCOM's Own. Activity in the TC is pretty good so it was a really hard choice, but one wing thats activity stood out was Wing XV on the ISD Vanguard. Congrats to them, they are TCCOM's Own! (ED. NOTE: Go us!)
- MAJ Hawk has returned from his emergency leave.
- Python CMDR Damon Kast has been promoted to CPT, congrats!
SQUADRON NEWS:
- Well, the biggest bit of news for us is that LCM Argos Staneth is the new FL of Flight 2, replacing CPT Jourdain. While CPT Jourdain has performed quite well as Flight Leader, LCM Staneth has been the most active member in this squad for quite some time now, and CPT Jourdain has duties in another sub group, which are extremely time consuming. So, LTs Paco and Mo, and LCM Blastfire will all report in to LCM Staneth every friday with their activity reports. Congrats, Argos. You earned this.
- CPT Jourdain has informed me that the new Wasp web site is almost finished, and will be up quite soon.
- We still need submissions for new mottos and nicknames, so send them in. The person how submits the best ones will get an ISM.
- I still have not been in contact with CM The_Z, so for those of you who have not flown for the comp wth Scorpion yet, you still have time to fly FREE-XvT #34 and FREE-XWA #13. Please get me your PLTs ASAP if you will be flying for the comp (I hope EVERYONE will get me somethign if they havnt already).
