SQUADRON NEWS
Pilot of the Week
LCM Soontir Fel is this weeks Pilot of the Week! His activity to fly some battles that helped us earn some additional Battle Citations set him apart from the remainder of the Squadron. Well done Soontir!!
Activity
We lost two pilots this week due to AWOL, so lets get more activity flowing to make up for this in the form of flying and recruiting! LCM Owen Wolfstar also temporarily transferred to Aylin Squadron to be the A-CMDR while COL Gen Es’mith is on his extended leave this month.
Battle Citations!
I hate to say it, but losing two pilots to AWOL may not have been such a bad thing after all when I checked the Battle Citations roster and discovered that we went from having 1 citation to 14! Keep up the flying Samekh, and we’ll have more. ;)
Recruiting
We are still in need of new pilots gentlemen. Let’s go get those new recruits pilots! ;) We only need three more pilots and we will be a full squadron again! Your CMDR’s personal thanks to the members of Samekh that have taken the time to recruit. From recent reports it appears that we may soon have two new members in our ranks! Well done!

WING V NEWS
Wing V vs. Wing I Comp Results
The Results are in, and Wing I declares victory. Congratulations to LCM Owen Wolfstar/Samekh who took first place in Wing V with a brand new Battle High Score and winning the IS-SR! Congratulations also go out to LCM Dakar Romson/Sadhe for taking second place in Wing V and winning the IS-BR!

Battle 174, Jaeger! Deadline is July 31. IS-SW to top scorer in
each wing; IS-BW to runner-up.
Recruiting
LC Proton is now insisting that all members of Wing V get busy and get new recruits into our ranks. We are now down to 46 pilots in Wing V and we must get our numbers back up and improving!

Sector Rangers and the Imperial Security Bureau

As Security Officer I'd like to announce the disbanding of the Sector Rangers, and like the phoenix, rising from the ashes of the Sector Rangers comes the Imperial Security Bureau, a badly needed beginning to a well-deserved end.
From veritable rubble and disorganization into an epitome of uniform and order, the ISB is here to serve you and the entire Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet, as an effective investigative/reporting agency. I'm sure many of you worry that the ISB is the same thing that the Sector Rangers were, but I assure you this is not true. Unlike the Sector Rangers, the ISB's goal is to report, not to act upon violations of the AoWs and CoCs.
We aren't the police, and wont try to pretend to be. Merely, if we see a violation of Imperial law, it is reported and documented and sent to the Security Office. I sincerely hope you don't automatically look down on the ISB as the bastard son of the SRs, because I would like to put everything the SRs were or stood for behind us. The ISB is just a way to help keep the trouble makers out of the fleet, discourage ill behavior and create a more enjoyable experience for everyone. Membership in the ISB will be very selective, due to the requirement that the organization must remain small in numbers at this present time; so we are seeking only the best and brightest.

SAMEKH WEEKY COMPETITION 2001
The winners of this weeks comp’s are: MAJ Wil Striker for TIE #3 and XWA #1! All pilots that participated this past week will receive a Battle Credit and Kills Point for Free-XvT #6 since it appears to be completely defunct mission. At first I thought I was the only one having problems, but it appears after receiving complaints from others that it is the mission itself.
