Introduction
While there hasn't been much activity this month, there has been lots of news. Some of the Immortal command have stepped down, lots of medals have been awarded, everyone is coming and going because of leave...and there is a new squadron competition!!!
I'm still not too happy with the lack of activity though. Fair enough, nearly everyone has been on leave at sometime over the past couple of weeks, but the rest of us should be active! Get flying those missions, get posting on the message boards and mailing lists, attend IRC channels, make something for the EH newsletter, and of course make sure I know you are doing all that! There were a lot of medals awarded for activity in June...let's see some more for our July activity!!!
NEW COMPETITION!!!
I've still not got a competition against another squadron (but I have a few lined up for the future now). So for now, we are going to attempt to get another Squadron Citation.
You have until Sunday 22nd July to fly TC-XWA#15. The highest total scoring pilot will win a Iron Star: Bronze Wing. There will be another e-mail about this with the battle files attached.
Lots of medals awarded this week
Well done to CM Spearhawk and LT Mark on getting a PC for excellent activity last month. Also good work to LT Nekura for getting an ISM for good activity too (if he joined a bit sooner, he probably would have got a PC too).
BG CMDR of the Month
Phantom CMDR, CPT Werdna Elbee, has won the BG CMDR of the Month award for June. I don't usually like bragging about my medals and awards, but I've been dying to get this award for ages!!!
RA Dras Hempor steps down as Immortal COM
Just announced yesterday on the mailing list, Dras Hempor has stepped down from the COM position. It is a great shame, as he is a great officer and he's only had the job for 5 minutes.
In other news, MAJ Nix has stood down as Ghost CMDR. At this rate, the entire command staff on the Immortal should be gone by Tuesday!
Pilots return from leave
LCM Jari and LT Marek Jaros are back from lave...again. They were recently kidnapped and packed off to Spain by their parents. It was unexpected and they didn't have time to report, so that's okay :o)
However, CPT Malik has come back from leave that he forgot to tell anyone about. No excuses there, so it's Latrine Duty for you, pilot!!!
Pilots on leave
LCM Deimos is on a semi-leave for the next month or so. It's the holidays you see!!! While he won't be doing as many BSFs as usual, he'll still keep up with his e-mails and probably take part in the competitions.
CM Spearhawk is still currently on leave, but he should be back by next weekend hopefully. When he returns he will be able to return to his IRC home of #isd_immortal and hassle everyone 24 hours a day :o)

in the TC is pretty good so it was a really hard choice, but one wing thats
activity stood out was Wing XV on the ISD Vanguard. Congrats to them, they are

I promised that NL #76 would be released soon! Here it is!
It's a bit smaller than NL #75, but mostly because I was able to shrink the
size of the "Battles Completed" section of the Battle Board from a
whopping 2mb file to a 500kb file. In this NL, you'll find battle reviews, a
look at the new TIE Corps uniforms, and the usual load of stuff. LoAs will be
awarded shortly.

Sabacc Online

After several days of endless coding, I've finally completed
the newest EHNet.org attraction: Sabacc Online! For those of you who aren't
familiar with Sabacc, it's a mixture of poker, blackjack and the Star Wars
Universe, and is the game in which Lando Calrissian had lost the Millenium
Falcon to Han Solo. If you don't know how to play, the rules are on the site,
and even if you do know, I suggest you look through them before playing. I'd
like to thank Inkwolf for designing

- Fly TC-XWA #15 for the inter-squadron competition
- If you want to play multiplayer XWA, then get stuck into Imp Storm II
- Attend IRC as often as possible. Remember that as well as #emperor's_hammer and #tiecorps, there is also an #ISD_Immortal room. If you need any help getting on IRC and using mIRC (or whatever) mail me.
- Post on the Phantom Message Board more often. It can be found in the Squadron Forums on http://www.tiecorps.org/mb/
- Recruit!!! If I can do it, ANYONE can!!!
- Give me some BSFs to do. If there are
any missions you haven't flown, then get flying. If you've completed them
already, then why not go for the highscores as they may be useful in a
future competition.
