Shin Squadron report for August 19, 2001 - CM Powerslave


SQUADRON NEWS

It's been a rather quiet week...no new pilots, not many battles flown, the high-scored battles were FINALLY BSFed and I got 40 points from TC-TIE #178 (w00t!), CoBs were FINALLY awarded to those who had over 34 FCHG points (w00t again!)...The only news that will be really interesting and will affect our squadron is the announcement of the new Commander of Resh Squadron, which will be done very soon. Stay tuned!
Also, LT TK-6448 is back from his leave, and has a new joystick! Get some pilot files my way, will ya?


SQUADRON STATUS

As it was said in previous reports, August in a month to rest (yeah, like we were tired :P),since more competitions await in September. HOWEVER, go to our squadron's roster,and scroll to the bottom of the page. What do you see? CITATIONS = 0! We had a few of them when there were 6 pilots in the squad, but with the coming of new pilots they were lost. So check my combat record and fly some battles! We need AT LEAST 5 citations! It is also a good way to test your brand-new joysticks, isn't it? :-)
Also, a recruitment or two wouldn't do any harm, would they?


PROMOTIONS/MEDALS

Nobody got promoted. As I said, there was a major CoB awarding to those who needed one. From our squadron, the pilots that were awarded one are : CM Powerslave, LCM Mark Schueler, LT Harisson, and LT Roulex. Congrats to us all!
