SQUADRON NEWS:

- Avenger vs. Talon Squadron: Tentative date, Saturday the 11th. Beginning time between 12-6 PM EST. Please contact me with times you are available for flying, and some last minute training if you intend to participate.
- Last week’s kill competition saw three entries. LCM Dakar Romson, LT Jerod Ashrand, and I flew the TC-XvT 11 Cooperatively. As such, each will be awarded 1 kill. For placing first, CM Dae earns 3 kills, LCM Dakar earns 2 kills for second, and LT Jerod earns 1 kill for third
- For shear attrition caused to the enemy as a result of his efforts, LT Jerod Ashrand is awarded an extra kill.
- This week’s battle will be TC-XWA 13. NOTE: This is the same battle as that for the Wing Competition. Fly it, and you will get double credit!

Competitions:
- There will be a fleetwide flying competition beginning shortly. The detail are attached. As a multi-platform, special operations squadron, Talon will be participating in both the TIE and the XWA/XvT events.
- Talon Weekly Kill Competition:
- Each week, I assign a battle to be flown. Because Talon is a multi-platform squadron, the battle selection will alternate between TIE, XvT, and XWA.
- Pilot files for the assigned battle are to be submitted to the me before the next Wednesday evening (as measured in GMT -7:00) when the weekly report is sent out. The top three scorers from each week will be awarded 3,2, and 1 kill(s) for 1st, 2nd, 3rd respectively. Additionally, to encourage MP activity and interaction among pilots, 1 kill will be awarded to anyone who flies an XvT battle on a team with at least one other pilot. Finally, credit for one kill due to attrition may be awarded for exceptional flying activity. These winners will be announced in the report. Further, on the Talon Squadron homepage each pilot will have his kills painted onto his fighter as a means of keeping track of them. For each 15 kills that a pilot has, he will be awarded an IS-BW. This will be an ongoing competition through the year.
- This week’s battle will be TC-XWA 13. NOTE: This is the same battle as that for the Wing Competition. Fly it, and you will get double credit!
- Wing Competitions:
-Fly one of the 3 battles according to your desired platform; TC-TIE #26 "The Dark troopers", TC-XvT #5 "Phoenix Saga", TC-XWA #13"Hammer to Anvil Part II" The pilot with the highest score from their platform category wins an IS-BW. Now if a pilot so happens to win all 3 platforms then they get an additional medal (ISM).
- As an important note, the wing collar creation part of this competition has been cancelled due to proposed uniform changed which would render it unusable.

- Commodore’s Escort:
- As was outlined in the COM’s last report, every two weeks, a mission will be selected. The highest score on said mission will be awarded the title of Commodore’s Escort for the next two weeks, as well as a small competition medal. This period’s assigned mission is: FREE-TIE #1

- Fiction Creation:
- if you are the type of person who enjoys writing fiction, the COM, RA Jeff 'Tiger' Loruss, will accept two submissions of fiction from each pilot per month. The fiction that he likes best will be included with his bi-weekly report, and the writter will recieve a small medal as reward.

- IMPERIAL STORM
