Koph Report # 50 (2001-08-14)

This report was submitted by LC Firebird

Pilots of Koph Squadron:

Check it out.. it's my 50th Koph Squadron Report. Isn't that cool? :)

We bid farewell today once again to CPT Mauser, who is returning to
the reserves due to real life infringing on his flying time. Thanks
for coming back, Captain, maybe we'll see you again sometime.

In what I imagine has got to be some kind of record, CPT Mauser's
place in Koph 3-3 has already been filled by COL Raith Seinar.
Deciding to try out the TC life once again, Raith joins us from the
reserves and has already sent me somewhere around 60 .tfrs to process
from his little "vacation" on the M/FRG Phoenix.

The important news of this week is that the Omega competition has
begun! The winning squadron will be determined by averaging the top
five scores from each squadron... which means we have to have at least
five submissions. There are 11 of you, I think we should be able to
manage it :)

The battle to fly is TC-TIE 154: "Spies!" and your .tfrs need to be
turned in before August 28th. Good luck!

At MAJ Jesseb's request, I have added a new squadron medal entitled
"Pride of the Wing Commander" or PWC. Check your activity reports
below for your new squadron ID lines. Thanks, Major!

Finally this week it is my pleasure to award the Koph Ace of the Week
to our newcomer, COL Raith Seinar. Following nearly a year of
tradition, each new pilot gets the Koph Ace on his or her first week
in the squadron. Furthermore, since Koph is the Wing Commander's Own,
you also get a WCO for your Koph ID line, and since we are the SSSD
Sovereign Flag Officers' Escort Squadron for Q3 2001, you get an ESC
as well. Congratulations, Raith, and welcome to Koph!

Your new Squadron ID Line is:

Colonel Raith Seinar - ESC/WCO/KA
