Tempest Squadron Report
8/12/01

-Squadron Orders-

-Fly FREE-TIE #158 for a innersquad competiton! This comp will put all flights against each other, in a effort to see who is the greatest flight in the squad! It'll also serve as a warm-up before we start on Tempest Campaign II!

-Recruit! Tempest is down to 9 numbers, which while is still high isn't full! If you can bring someone in who's active and can fly, then by all means get them in here!


-Tempest Survivor News-
-Round 2 consisted of a webhunt, where CM Sephiroth again won immunity! CM Kaneda Pellail was voted off in this round as the game heated up...

-Round 3 broke Seph's streak of wins when LCM Master won the speed-free challenge which conistsed of him flying FREE-TIE #66 for a time of 12 minutes, beating out the rest of the squad. CM Sephiroth was voted off, being obviously the biggest threat to all

-Round 4 brought it down to three men, LCM Chris McCollum, LCM Master and LT Dirk Logan. The 3 engaged in a IRC hunt and while it was close LCM Master came out ahead. LT Dirk Logan was voted off as we reached the final round...

-In the final round, LCM Chris McCollum and LCM Master had to write a small speech about why they should win, and those who participated in the Survivor challenge could vote for the winner.

-The winner of the survivor challenge is... ::drumroll:: LCM Master!! Congratulations!

-For winning the Survivor Challenge, LCM Master will be awarded a IS-BW. As a additional prize, he will also reclaim his spot of FL3! So in a few days Master will again be the FL3. Congratulations again to this great performance Master!

-Squadron News-

-Unfortunetley, due to ISP problems and busy life LT Macintosh has headed off to the reserves. We will miss him, but he didn't have the time and he didn't want to hold us back during Tempest Campaign 2

-Just so you all know, Tempest Campaign II will be starting up within a week or so. In this comp I have always asked for 100% participation, and have gotten it. I don't want this to change now. So if you feel your life is too hectic or you don't want to, I would kindly ask you head to the reserves for awhile. I don't ask much, but it's nessecairy for us to win. I believe you all want to win and see us go undefeated again, but you never know, so this is just one of those things I have to say. Hope I'll be seeing all of you with us! :)

-LT Dirk Logan has created a Flight 1 page which I like a lot, personally. I'll be putting it up on tempestsquadron.com soon, and after those of us FL1ers can add stuff and what not if we so desire

-LCM Chris McCollum had a *very* cool Tempest stats page... I'm going to have Kaneda put it online so once it's there you all should go see it(link will be included next week :))

-The TAC is having serious ISP problems, so the TAC office is basically closed for the moment until things get better. Also means I have no work to do :P

-The FMC is suspending new membership for the time being(which sucks cause Seph can't be my nurse offically yet :P) Supposedly this will last for a month
