Odin's Uprising
Chapter 2
After the last run-in with the pirates, ISD Grey Wolf remained on full
alert. Everyone was trying to pass the time in the bar or by reading novels.
There was another risk of sudden attack, but no one seemed to care at the
moment. Khadgar was telling everyone a story about one of the battles he has
flown in. Khadgar is a huge moral-booster for these pilots. Lately, they
haven't gotten much sleep lately. All of a sudden, red lights begin to flash
followed by a siren.
"Here we go, guys," Lieutenant Brian said tiredly.
"Oh yeah, baby!!!!" exclaimed Andrew, who must have been at least
somewhat drunk. He hasn't gotten sleep in the past two days, put is showing
no signs.
"Full pirate attack on ISD Grey Wolf. Odin Squadron report to the Flight
Hanger immediately," a voice announced over the PA system. It was Khadgar.

The entire squadron was out of the hanger in less than 5 minutes. Raxis
broke up the responsibilities.
"Okay, everyone. I have a sensor reading of 36 starfighters and 4 capitol
ships," Raxis stated. "From what Khad has informed me, they are 24 T-Wings
and 12 T-Wings. Also, there is 1 Calimari Cruiser, 1 Mod. Frigate, and 2 Mod.
Corvettes. Supposedly, The Pirate Leader is on one of those Corvettes. Again,
do not attack the cap. ships until all the fighters are gone. And, do not
destroy any of the cap. ships. Disable them all so they can be boarded.
Comprende?" Raxis asked.
"Roger that, lead," Brian confirmed.
"Alright," Saar replied.
"Alright!!! Let's blow some pirate ass out of the sky!!!" Andrew
exclaimed.

Right off the bat, Brian got a missle lock on one of the A-Wings and
fired two advanced concussion missles at it. He managed to do the same for 4
other starships, also.
Andrew wasn't that lucky. After taking out an A-Wing and a pair of
T-Wings, he was hit.
"Ahhh!!! My ship is on fire. I have to eject!!" screamed Andrew as he
pulled the lever that shot him out of his cockpit about 20 meters above his
destroyed Tie Interceptor.
"I hope he makes it..." said Brian and Raxis simultaniously.
"Okay everyone, Andrew should be fine. Lets continue on with the mission
in spite of a loss of a craft," Saar said. He was only hoping that the first
thing he said was true.

Odin miraculously completed their battle with no other losses. They
killed all the starfighters, but the cap. ships managed to flee. Khadgar
mentioned If there is another attackthat will have to be captured.
After everyone made their way out of their starfighters and their flight
suits, they went to the med room to see how Andrew was doing.
They talked to the doctor, and he said that Andrew sustained injuries
that would take at least a week to recover. After that period, he will be
cleared to fly.
"Thank God," everyone thought to themselves...

Squadron News:
I'm happy to see so many of you flying in Multiplayer comps. Many LoCs are rolling in as well as a couple DFCs soon :-)
Its Official! Were gonna be taking on TAU Squadron in a Multiplayer competition (XWA and XvT). Theyre got everything to lose and we've got nothing. Lets show em whos boss! I should have a date for you by next week hopefully.
With the Arrival of Bruc, our 6th pilot, we've been gaining citations. We're up to 50 right now. Thats a 11 citation increase in a week after the initial 39 we got from him when he arrived. Excellent work pilots. Lets keep up this trend.
Not as many IWATS Courses here lately, but if ya get the extra time, give it a shot, wont hurt nothing :-)
MSE medals are out. Congrats guys
Raxis finnaly got TIE-Fighter! The entire squadron now holds all platforms except for XW. With this, we can gain countless numbers of citations!
Squadron Status:
Imperial Storm II battles can occur at any time. Keep an eye out in your email bins and on tc.org's news page. Battle times and dates will be listed there.
Regular Weekly Competition for XvT and XWA are held. Check the combat calendar for more information on these competitions. Flying in these competitions can bring in the medals. LoCs and DFCs are plentiful!
Still many many spots to fill in the squadron, if you know some people on Daedalus who will be an asset the squadron, don't hesitate to reccomend odin squadron to them.
Lets see if we can knock down the rest of the XvT Citations and start working on gaining the TIE's in order as best possible from 1 on :-)

Final Thought this week...
This week I've seen a lot of Multiplayer flying. You dont know how pleased I am to see this :-) Keep practicing, it will be crucial in beating TAU Squadron durring our competition with them. Keep fine tuning your flying skills and finding out ways to take them out faster, and more efficiently. Remember, the more we dominate them in scores, the more pride we will take away from them.
