Scorpion Squadron Weekly Report ending the 3rd of August

“Good Morning, Sergeant.” Ekim was not so happy this morning but was polite non the less with the stormtrooper.

“Good Morning, Commander. What can I do for you?” The white armor glistened with it’s shine, you expected nothing less from the Vanguards’ detachment.

“Sergeant I want to know if your MP’s found my missing pilots. If they don’t I will declare them AWOL.”

“Sorry Commander the squads found no sign of them.”

The room stood as Commander Ekim Yellek entered the Scorpion Squadron Ready Room. “Good morning gentlemen. As you know a few of our squadron mates have been AWOL’d since our down time on Aurora. Apparently they found the Casino just to exciting to come back home.” The snickers he got were cold. The members of the squad were not happy with the situation. Scorpion now hovered around 50% readiness and that was horrible. “We’ll need to get some replacements fast, so get out there and recruit! Onto other news, Lieutenant Xanthos has been awarded Squad XO for the month. He was also awarded 2 LoC’s for his flying a few weeks ago. Col Thrawn is putting together our new holo-net site, and Lt Torak has completed his Flight’s site aswell. So no matter where you are stay in touch.”

“As you may have heard I was given permission to start a new group onboard the Vanguard, codename Phalanx Group, Shield to the Vanguard. Maj Strahd is the Squadron Commander, VA mBind and myself are the other two FL’s. This group is supposed to be the brightest and best combat pilots from the ship. We will compete in ship-ship competitions for the glory of the Vanguard and the ASF. I have some spots open and if you are interested contact me for the information regarding group training and things. That is all, so let’s get some flying done!”

Squadron News and Orders:
This week was the last chance to contact me, so I have done the dirty deed and AWOL’d those people who did not contact me in the two week period. As I am sure you noticed we are very handicapped right now. So if everyone one of us recruits just one active pilot to the squad it would go a long way to restoring it. Also Flight leaders I would like to get new mottos and nicknames for the flights and squadrons and I would like to get your input, thanks. Also I would like every pilot to either compete in one MP event or one single player battle per week to get citations for the squad. Also over the course of the next week I would like to see everyone on mIRC and in contact with me… that is an order!
I know some people are tied up with work and such and soon I will be going to college so I too will be busy, but now is the time to get the squadron going. I would also like to assign a XO for the squadron. While traditionally this is a flight leader I like to follow the example of Rogue Squadron and choose the most active and encouraging member, so until further notice as the XO might change on a monthly basis, the XO is LT Xanthos Deia, congratulations. If I am out of town or busy Xanthos will be the A-CMDR.
