*Roasty's Party Aftermath Delirium Tremens strikes back*
Squadron News
-Well this must be the better week in Kappa since I joined. A continuous neverending party. Where to start? Well, at the top, I guess. I'm highly honored of being at your command, and I reached my goal as CMDR. I can't get any happier. ;)
-First, a true legend of this squadron, CM Hawkins, who was CMDR when I joined, after a period in the Reserves has brought back his mission designing skills, his drinking resistance records and his experience back. I was really happy when I got his mail saying he wanted to get back in Kappa. He's an invaluable asset to the squad, specially for the youngsters. Welcome, sir!
-On a related matter, Jan got nostalgic and finished a kickass story he started long ago when Kappa was 4 members (Deacan, Hawkins, Jan and myself). Read it, it's a great story!! It's attached.
-Then, shortly after, on a IRC meeting with LCM Hermann I found out he was convincing a soon-to-be Cadet to check out Kappa. I actually talked to him, his name was Zyrax. Turns out Zyrax is now a proud new LT flying at my side on Flight I. The surprise was high when I got a .tfr from him for TC-TIE 177 before even graduating from Daedalus. I tell you, I see a great future for him if he keeps it up like that. First cadet to be a LT before graduating. You're really welcome on Kappa, Zyr!
-LCM Hermann earned himself a shiny Medal of Instruction for his wonderful recruiting and helping job on Zyrax! Let's hear it for the one who took us up to twelve!!
-At the same moment I got the mail from the FO assignament on Zyrax, another mail who made me really happy arrived. It was Algaron's promotion confirmation. Boy, this was really getting better and better. The most promotion deserving officer I've ever worked with had finally obtained it. The party was getting bigger than New Year's Eve. All I can say is congratulations Captain Algaron!!
-And finally, WE HAVE A FULL ROSTER!! YAY!! PAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRTTTTTTYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!
-Ok, on the aftermath of the party, I'd like to congratulate both Theta and Sin for their great victory on us, being the first defeat we face. They made a great match for us, and they got what they deserved. I hear a proposition of teaming up vs three other squadrons from another wing...interesting ;) And to all of you boys, I'm really proud of your work, as we got 10 submissions for the comp, which is very important to me, as it shows our commitment, effort and participation. A defeat with honor is a victory, so PARTY ON!! Results are on the MISC section.
-The Wing II Arena comp, first round has ended! Ladies and ladies, we have a representant from Kappa for the next stage and he is...*drumroll* *Roasty is clumsy opening the envelope* *yet another melodramatic pause* LCM Tempest!!!!! Congratulations on gettting the highest score on Kappa, and we'll be behind you (literally :p) on the next stage! GO TEMPIE!!!!!!!!!

-And on the RL incident section of the report, I got hit by a bus. Yeah, I'm alive, a few bruises and scratches. No, the driver doesn't take offers to try again, thanks.
-This week's Ol' Roasty's word o' advice: "Watch both sides before crossing. Ah, and that whole 'I saw my whole life pass before my eyes' thing is crap. All I saw was a big solid bus about to hit me :p"

With her promotion, the position of Wing XVIII Wing Commander is now open, and applications are being accepted. The requirements are as follows:
- Must have TIE Fighter (TIE 95 preferred)
- At least 4 months of command experience at CMDR level or higher (the more the better)
- Must be a member in good standing of the Dark Brotherhood (AED or higher will be given preference)
- Extensive IRC use
All applications should be sent to Rear Admiral Shadowhawk and Vice Admiral Firefox. Good luck!

-#EHCOC is Now Open!
Effective immediately, all multiplayer competitions held on IRC (unless otherwise noted, i.e. this does not affect the Imperial Naval Fleet War Night) will be moved into the channel #EHCOC. The new Emperor's Hammer Combat Operations Center is now completely in use. For all competitions, the moderation bot, WillyB0T will control handing out matches, recording scores, etc. Also, the rule for setting up matches outside of channel is now void, you must come into #EHCOC and use the bot to set up a match. The triggers for the bot are basic, !add , where is the game xwa, xvt, or jk, and your TC PIN number (example: !xwaadd 296). The moderators will be there to help you, or may contact me with questions, wetwilly@ehnet.org.

-Psi Squadron Invitational Tournament results
Greetings, everyone. As some of you may have been aware, over the past two months, the first annual Psi Squadron Invitational Tournament has taken place. Designed as a TIE competition to give some of the smaller squadrons (9 or below) fleet-wide recognition and stiff competition from their equals, the PSIT started out with nine squadrons involved - the host squadron, Psi, Tartarus, Delta, Eta, Chaos, Koph, Nun, Shield and Yod - one squadron from almost all TIE wings, including one representing the ASF. Over three rounds, the numbers were whittled down to five squadrons, then three, then the champions. Today marks the end of the PSIT, and it is Ford's pleasure to announce the champions. Behold, the scores of the final round!

That's right, congratulations to the champions of the Psi Squadron Invitational Tournament...Yod Squadron! Well-played, Yod! A hearty congratulations to runners-up Eta and third-place finishers Koph Squadron on a fight well-contested. Superlative work! Congratulations also to MAJ Halcyon of Yod, who was the top-scorer in the competition overall, with LC Iceman of Koph as the runner-up and CM Night Grue of Eta in third.
Thanks to all who participated from the start...maybe we can do this again sometime ;P
-War proposal... all in the name of fun
The Emperor's Hammer has been invited to participate in a war this weekend! All are welcome to come to the Imperial Naval Fleet War Night, simply join the channel #Warnight on Undernet, and you're there! XWA, XVT, and JK will be accommodated, so there's a game for almost everyone. It starts at 8 pm EST, and goes until midnight, so everyone come and give the EH a good showing!
