report.


SQUADRON NEWS
------------------------------------------------

- We have two new pilots in Hey Squadron increasing
our numbers to 8. Welcome SL Soft Gold and SL Alhana
Creed. I hope you enjoy your time here.
SL Soft Gold has already flown a FXWA mission and
passed an IWATS course since he joined so nice work :)

- Congratulations to LCM Dan Jenkins and CM Josh
Popelka who were promoted this week for their hard
work and dedication to the squadron.

- I achieved the FCHG rank of HUSS and LCM Dan Jenkins
achieved the FCHG rank of LANC.

- Compete in the Squadron Patch competition to design
a patch for our uniforms. I haven't had any entries
yet so I hope you are all working on something good.

- I was awarded an IS-BR for coming second in the Wing
III website competition and I was also awarded an ISM
for writing the Hey Squadron history for the LO.

The CGI news script will work when I find a new host
which will support CGI / Perl.

- LCM Dan Jenkins thought up a brand new Flight II
motto and nickname and gets a Golden TIE for his
troubles.

Nickname - "The Hot Hands"
Motto - "So good we ought to be illegal"

- These are the updated Golden TIE standings to
reflect Dan's TIE and my two from the CRT test and the
Sov TopGun round 1.

- I'm not sure if everyone got the report I wrote last
week, so here are some old bits of news for those of
you who didn't get the report.

- Our CRT test finished and we got a level of 2 with a
participation of 4 out of 6. I gained the Golden TIE
on offer.

- Round 1 of the Sov TopGun comp finished and 4 out of
6 people flew. I gained the top score and move on to
Round 2 and gained the Golden TIE on offer. This makes
me the second person to get a Golden Missile Boat.

- I will be a bit slower than normal to answer mails
this week as I have lots of exams at college. I'll be
back to normal in a few weeks however.

- Finally, please use the Hey squadron mailing list
and message board. This will allow other people in the
squadron to see that you are active.


WING III NEWS
-----------------------------------------------

- Congrats to the new Daleth Commander, CM Dark Angel.

- Wing III membership is now at 31 following new
pilots in Hey, Beth and Daleth. Keep recruiting
everyone and we may be able to re-open Gimel or Vav
soon.

- Use the Wing mailing list and message board and
hopefully we will start to communicate much more as a
Wing.

- Read the Wing III report for any other Wing III
news.


FLEET NEWS

New EH Bylaw

With the recent spate of folks, with the best of
intentions, applying for and being appointed as
Command Staff, then resigning within a short time (<6
months), a NEW Bylaws revision is posted and
incorporated herein:

XIV
Open Command Staff Positions are typically posted on
the Emperor's Hammer Domain Index. All active Members
of the club with no violations registered with the
High Court of the Inquisitors are free to apply for
open these Positions. However, If a Member accepts
such a position, receives a related Rank promotion and
then resigns in less than 6 months, the Member will be
demoted to the Rank they were before application for
the command position.

The Command Staff Positions require the utmost
dedication and serious commitment. These volunteer
officers, through their hard work and organization,
hold the Emperor's Hammer together. Members
frivolously applying for and then resigning from these
Positions (i.e. to get a quick jump in Rank) may be
subjected to further inquiry by the High Court of the
Inquisitors.

This policy shall apply to all Command Staff Positions
and Command Attaché Positions effective July 1, 2001.
